SAVAGE, Mr. Keith - Age 44, passed away Monday, November 20, 2006. Family hour 1:30PM Tuesday, November 28, 2006 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 2PM. Pastor Lewis Randolp officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30PM Tuesday. Mr. Savage will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Monday. Mr. Keith Edward Savage was born October 14, 1962 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Washington and Pearl "Stine" (Gaines) Savage. Keith attended Flint Central High School and he was employed with Ideal Steel, Inc. Keith accepted Christ into his life, becoming a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Keith was a easy going, loving person who enjoyed fishing, working on cars, being a handy man and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. Keith leaves to cherish: his longtime companion of fifteen years, Linda Hardmon; 2 daughters, Shantel Savage and Seaira Savage; son, Keyland Savage; step daughter, Phine' Hardmon; beloved mother, Pearl Savage; 7 sisters, Sharon Johnson of North Little Rock, AR, Gwendolyn "Cocoa", Sheila, Sharlen (Henry) Davis, Gyale (Jeff) Wade, Yolanda (Jerome) Barfield and Sallie, all of Flint; 4 brothers, Marvin, Desmond, Delon, all of Flint and Somlola M. Savage of Alabama; 2 aunts, Mary Williams of Flint and Surella (Wilbert) Buchanan of Lake Providence, LA; a host of nieces and nephews including special nephew, Robert "Lil Bob" Steele, Jr.; cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends Shirley Taylor, Robert "Pokey" Rorie, Charles Young and George Pounsie. Keith was preceded in death by his dear father, Washington; 3 brothers, Anthony, Aaron and Ernest; sister, Mary; niece, Michelle Steele; grandparents; and friends, Ken Rochelle and Bobby Lee "Gun" Hearst. The family would like to express special thanks to Shirley Taylor and Pastor Lewis Randolph.
