LEWIS, Mr. Keith B. - Age 61, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday September 30, 2023 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM, Tiffany Washington, presiding. Interment Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, 2020 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Friends ad pallbearers will assemble at the Funeral Home 10:00 AM Saturday. Mr. Lewis will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM Friday, with family present to receive friends from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM. Mr. Keith Bernard Lewis was born September 30, 1961 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Lensey Lewis and Deloris Lewis. Keith was a resident of Mt. Morris, Michigan and attended Beecher High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps, USA QMCFL, Fort Lee, VA. Keith was a Truck Driver, the owner and operator of K-N-K Transportation. He enjoyed sports, football, basketball, HGTV, traveling and going to his son’s games. Keith also enjoyed car shopping, and spending time with family and friends. He loved to crack jokes and was very laid back, nurturing, compassionate, firm in his beliefs, organized, dependable and always giving advice. If you are with him for 5 minutes you got enough knowledge for a lifetime. Mr. Keith Bernard Lewis leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Lin Lewis of Mt. Morris, MI; 4 daughters, Keyasha Lewis of Orange County, CA, Denisha Lewis, Jazzman Lewis, both of Cleveland, OH, and Asiah Coley of Melissa, TX; 2 sons, Curtis Stevenson of Flint and Keven Lewis of Mt. Morris, MI: grandchildren, Divine Bobby Lee Knox, AaLiyah and Cashius Riggins, all of Orange County, CA, Jalissa and Michale Edmonson, both of Cleveland, OH, MaRiyah and Melanie Hollis, both of Melissa, TX, and Nyla Stevenson of Flint; great-granddaughter, Heavyn Newman of Orange County, CA; sisters, Cathy (Marlon) Mitchell of Grand Blanc, MI and Mona Lewis; brother, Dennis Lewis of El-Sobrante, CA; 2 nieces, Monique Ford of Grand Blanc, MI and Bianca Ford of Ypsilanti, MI; 6 aunts, Brenda Sales of Flint, Mary Katherine Jones of Huntsville, AL, Mary Stewart of Fenton, MI, Mary Alice Lewis of Jackson, TN, Ethel Lewis of Grand Blanc, MI and Elnora Lewis Raymond of Calabasas, CA; 2 uncles, Wendell Sales of Huntsville, AL and Thomas Sales; mother and father-in-law, John and Argie Williamson; 3 sisters-in-law, Aubray (Andre) Mabry, all of Flint, Donna Williamson and Karen (Jeff) Harris, all of Grand Blanc, MI; god-mother, Ada Sue Hollis and family; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, the Payton family, bonus sister, Lisa Payton, Tiffany Washington, Kenneth Booker, Anthony Cox, Charles Smith, Edward Prezzie, Otis Grimes and Damarco Hollis. Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, Lensey Lewis and Deloris Lewis; grandparents, Charlie and Katherine Scott Sales; and brother, Keven Lewis. The family would like to express special thanks to Hurley Medical Center ICU Medical staff, Max Martin, Jacob Heddy, Megan Ruggirello, John French, Neighbor Todd and Joe Baksa, and Cleo Jenkins. Mr. Lewis was Honorably Discharged from the United States Marine Corp.
