COULTER, Ms. Katina Marie - Age 32, passed away Friday, January 27, 2006 at her residence. Family hour 1:30PM Friday, February 3, 2006 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2PM. Pastor Carliss Oden, officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30PM Friday. Ms. Coulter will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Thursday. Mrs. Katina Marie (Buchanan) Coulter was born on June 15, 1973 in Pontiac, Michigan the daughter of Ms. Ethel Mae Buchanan and Mr. Theodore Ross. She resided in Flint for almost 31 years. "Tina" attended Flint Public Schools. In 1998, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Terrence "Tony" Coulter. "Tina" was a member of St. Paul C.O.G.I.C. She loved to sing and listen to music. She started singing at the age of 4years old with the Burks Singers. The love of her children and family was her greatest joy. "Tina" enjoyed watching soap operas and having a good time with family and friends. "Tina" was kind to everyone she knew and had a big smile and an unforgettable laugh. Mrs. Katina Marie (Buchanan) Coulter leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Terrence A. Coulter of Flint; daughter, Latriece Taylor; son, Latrail Taylor, both of Flint; step-son, Terrence A. Coulter, Jr.; mother, Ethel Mae Buchanan; father, Theodore Ross of California; grandfather, Rev. Robert Burks; 3 sisters, LaTasha Scott, Shanita Hawkins, both of Flint, Bianca Ross of Pontiac; 4 brothers, Raja Buchanan of Flint, Theodore Ross II, Julius and PaDrell Ross, all of Pontiac; a host of nieces and nephews including special niece, Shamaria Hawkins, special nephew, Jaylan Scott; aunts, Emma and Ernestine Buchanan, Louise (Tommy) Gulledge, all of Flint, special aunt, Catherine Miller of Pontiac; uncle, Rev. Willie (Rose) Buchanan of Flint; a host of cousins; 3 sisters-in-law; 4 brothers-in-law; many other relatives and friends including special cousins, Ida Miller, Angee and Jan Libbett, Larry Gulledge, Keana Reeves, Shamill and Daniel Buchanan. Mrs. Katina Marie (Buchanan) Coulter was preceded in death by her grandparents, Louise and Emerson Buchanan, Priscilla and Wilbur D. Ross; brother, Mandral Ross; mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Coulter; brother-in-law, Donald Coulter; uncle, Robert Miller, Sr. The family would like to express special thanks to the St. Paul C.O.G.I.C.
