TYLER, Mrs. Karen Celia - Age 58, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025, at her residence. Family hour 10:00 AM Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Holy Ghost Church Ministries, 801 Addison St., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM Pastor Willie Kidd, officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the church 10:00 AM Thursday. Mrs. Tyler will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Wednesday. Mrs. Karen Celia Tyler “Lady Bugg” was born September 6, 1966 in East St. Louis, Illinois, daughter of Edward Horton and Yvonne Janea Austin. Karen was raised in Flint, Michigan and attended Flint Community schools, a proud graduate of Flint Northern High School, “Class of 1985.” She also attended Mott Community College as a Business Major. Karen enjoyed music, singing, watching NBA and NFL games, and cooking every holiday for family and friends, if she was cooking everybody was coming for a plate. She loved caring for her cat “Missy”. Karen also enjoyed shopping, spending time with family & friends, and going to conventions. She was also a big advocate for the recovery community. Karen loved everyone as if they were all her children, if she met you once you became one of her babies. Mrs. Karen Celia Tyler “Lady Bugg” leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Revilo Tyler Sr.; 3 sons, Latreille (Julisa) Relerford, Revilo Tyler Jr., and Dejon Gibbs, all of Flint; daughter, NaTasha (Dwight) Clark; grandchildren, Ley’ara, JaNiyah, Journeigh and Prumyze Relerford, Jaiana Littlejohn, Deondra Basey, Taejon, Daijon Depillars, Dezmond Wiliams Dwight, Dajah, Dynasty Clark TyQuan Langston, Kamorah, Kavila Revilo Tyler, ZaaKirah, Yaseer and Jaquavis; great-grandchildren, Aryae Williams and Dasai Clark; god-daughters, Charda Grandberry and Anqualisha Hodges; 3 aunts, Ardell Lewis, Cynthia Mask and Rosalind (Mark) Moss; 2 uncles, Edward Austin and Orlando Mask; 40 nieces; 30 nephews; 6 great-nieces; 6 great-nephews; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Sherry Cooper, Nakimula (Nikki) Love, Deidra Williams, Anita Brown and Nashawn Campbell; mother-in-law, Gail Morton.. Mrs. Tyler was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Horton and Yvonne Janea Austin; grandmother, Mary V.
