HALL-FISCHER, Ms. Karen M. - Age 57, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022, at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 5151 Lennon Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM, Pastor Kate Morritauk, officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt. Morris, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Church 10:30 AM Tuesday. Ms. Fischer will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12:0 PM-6:00 PM Monday. Mrs. Karen Michelle Hall-Fischer was born March 7, 1965 in Birmingham, Alabama. The daughter of Clarence Hall Sr. & Elizabeth Hall. She was a Flint resident, and graduated from Beecher High School “Class of 1983”. Mrs. Hall-Fischer was an employee of Beecher School District. She attended Trinity United Presbyterian Church where she was an active Deconess and a member of the Sarah Circle. She was PTO President, a youth basketball coach, brownie girl scout troop leader and UCYO summer program director. She was a Foster mother to many for 23 years. Mrs. Hall-Fischer was a great cook and dedicated her life to care for her brother Lee Shawn Hall. Karen leaves to cherish her memory, 6 daughters and 2 sons, Michelle Fischer, Dominique Fischer, Desiree Fischer, Michael Fischer Jr., Undrea Fischer, Shawntera Fischer, Laparris Fischer and Leonard Blakely; honorary daughters, Davina Cohill and Tanessa (Branden) Betts all of Flint; grandchildren, Gabrielle Gilbert, DeCarri Howze, Cameron Luckett Jr.,Callie Luckett, Jaxson Veasley, Aniya and Amara Sylvester; 2 brothers, Andre Hall (Holly Chrisman) of Indianapolis, IN and Lee Shawn Hall of Flint, MI. A host of nieces and nephews; aunt, Annie Mance “Tootie Girl” of Detroit, MI. Many cousins, special cousins, Kimberly Blair, Jonathan Clifton and Shelia Lomax. A host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Mary Byrd, Kalita Miller, Waldo Bronson, Charlotte Williams, Sudie, Vicki Houston, Fumi Adigun and the Wiley family, and Muriel Jackson. Mrs. Karen Hall-Fischer was preceded in death by parents, Clarence Hall Sr. and Elizabeth Hall; brother, Clarence Hall Jr., grandparents, James & Ruth Petty, Lee Hall and Ruthie Bell Crosby; 2 aunts and 4 uncles.
