WRIGHT, Mr. Julius, Jr. - Age 28, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10AM Saturday, September 12, 2009 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM, Eld. Aaron Wright officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10AM Saturday. Mr. Wright will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Friday. Mr. Julius Wright, Jr. was born November 3, 1980 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Julius, Sr. and Billie Wright. He confessed his hope in Christ at an early age and was a member of Northeast Missionary Baptist Church. Julius was known to always joke around, he loved playing chess, dominoes, and card games. He played all kinds of sports; he was a huge fan of Indianapolis Colts. Julius also attended the Flint Public Schools. Mr. Julius Wright, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Shaquandra Wright; very special friend, fiancé’ and confidant until the end, Lavreda Beard; 5 stepchildren, LaRico Taylor, Robert Hodges III, Duane Kelly, Jaylen Butler and DonQuay Johnson; mother, Billie Lynn Wright; 5 sisters, Torina Benton, Carla Wright-Jenkins, Taseena Benton, all of Flint, Tasheen (James) Shotwell of Richmond, IN and Tamika Wright of Poughkeepsie, NY; 2 brothers, Marvin Wright, Sr. of Mobile, AL and Terry Benton of Settle, WA; 5 nieces, LaToya Taylor, LaQuisha Patrick, Nicole Story and Nakeia Storey, both of Richmond, IN and Chelan Wright, all of Flint; 6 nephews, Eric Miller, Jr., Marvin Wright, Jr., Jerry Goodlow, Jr., Dominic Manuel, Jr., James Mitchell, Jr., and A’Jarey Shotwell of Richmond, IN; 2 great nephews, Emarion Miller and Jatavion Adkisson, all of Flint; 4 aunts, Gloria Benton, Betty Green, Orange Lee Tyler, all of Flint, and Carrie (Jacob) Gahigunde of Chicago, IL; 6 uncles, David Benton, Clifton Ross and Davis Wright, all of Flint, Aaron (Rosie) Wright of Augusta, GA, Otis Wright and Henry (Odessa) Wright, both of Detroit, MI; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Rodney Alex Benton, Trillum Benton, LaVonda Gaines, RaShawn Cooper and the Woodlin Drive and Holbrook Avenue families. Mr. Julius Wright, Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Julius Wright, Sr.; grandparents, Roscoe (Louvenia) Benton, Aaron (Callie D.) Wright; great nephew, Sir Dequavion Silk; uncles, Robert Wright, Jimmie Wright, J.D. Wright and Roscoe Benton; aunts, Ora Lee (T.C.) Sanders, Josephine (Elijah) Rainey, Ruby (Grant) Pickens, Velma (Marshall) Flowers and cousin, Alberta Freeman.
