Ms. Juanita Faye Price

PRICE, Ms. Juanita Faye - Age 57, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 1:30 PM Thursday, September 29, 2016 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Thursday. Ms. Price will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday. Ms. Juanita Faye Price was born February 18, 1959 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Rosetta and Theodore Beene. She loved spending quality time with her family. Juanita was the queen of making turkey and dressing, everybody loved her dressing. She loved cooking big meals and inviting the whole family over to eat. Juanita also loved concerts, listening to the blues and the oldies, and to dress in apparel that was fancy and bright. She was a good dancer. Juanita would open her home to whomever needed a place to stay. She enjoyed having lots of people around her always. Juanita work for 15 years at Mott Foundation in the Janitorial Department and was very committed to her job. Ms. Juanita Faye Price leaves to cherish her memory: 3 sons, Marquavis D. Jones of Flint, Dwayne A. Jones and Dana J. Price; 6 grandchildren, London M. Jones, all of Knoxville, TN, Antonio D. Holliday of Indianapolis, IN, Jalen K. Prevo of Flint, Dajour A. McGee of Knoxville, TN, Marquavis D. Jones, Jr. of Flint and Isiah Jones of Knoxville, TN; 8 sisters, Thelma, Loretta, Rita Smith, Teresa White, Shirley Essett, Patricia Toliver, Jackie and Venetta; 2 brother, Michael Beene and Allan Beene; 2 aunts, Dorothy Price and Priscilla Price; uncle, Joe Price; 2 sisters-in-law; 1 brother-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including special friend, Ray Burks. Ms. Price was preceded in death by her parents, Rosetta and Theodore Beene; grandparents, James and Christine Price; brother, Lawrence Price; 2 uncles, Charles and James L. Price. The family would like to express special thanks to Nesie “Shirley” her sister and Kenneth Ross for taking her back and forth to her doctor appointments and hospital visits, best friend, Debra Howard who always brought Juanita gifts and words of encouragement.
