RICE, Mr. Joshua D. - Age 21, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Family hour 10 a.m. Friday, September 24, 2010 at Evangelist Temple Church of our Lord, 1906 Copeman St., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m., District Eld. Joe Robinson, Officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10 a.m. Friday. Mr. Rice will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed from 12noon - 8p.m. Thursday. Mr. Joshua Devin Rice was born April 27, 1989 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of R. Vanessa E. Daniels and Carlos K. Rice, Sr. Joshua gave his life early to God and was a proud member of Evangelist Temple Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ C.O.G.I.C., where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He was pursuing his G.E.D. at Mt. Morris Adult Alternative, with the hopes of receiving a degree in computer design. Joshua enjoyed playing video games, listening to rock music, spending time with his friends and playing the dozens with his siblings. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. There will never be another like him. Mr. Joshua Devin Rice leaves to cherish his memory: parents, Romoa Vanessa E. (Willard Wayne) Daniels and Carlos K.
