WARREN, Mrs. Josephine - Age 82, passed away Monday, March 3, 2008 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10AM Monday, March 10, 2008 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service at 11AM. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10AM Monday. Mrs. Warren will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 10AM-8PM Sunday. Mrs. Josephine (Crayton) Warren was born to Curtis and Gustavia Crayton on November 18, 1925 in Dyersburg, Tennessee. In 1947, she was united in Holy Matrimony with Virgil O. Warren and unto this union eight beautiful children were born. In 1953, they moved to Flint, Michigan, where they resided for the remainder of their lives. She professed a hope in Christ at an early age. Josephine was a faithful member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the Nurses Board until her health began to fail. Josephine will be remembered for her strength, generosity, wisdom, courage and most of all, her love for people and Christ. Mrs. Warren leaves to cherish her sweet memory: 6 daughters, Virgie Young, Rebecca (Robert) Scott, Willie (Earnest) Smith, Brenda (Raymond) Tyler, Mary Warren and Gay (Willie) Warren; 2 sons, Tommie Warren and Shelby (Debra) Warren, all of Flint; 24 grandchildren, Teresa Young, James Young, Jeanette Young, Donney Young, Lesley Young, Terry Warren, TaQuata Smith, Latrice Smith, Robert Scott, Jr., Romann Warren, RoShaunda Scott, Coleman Hinkle, Shelton Warren, Antoinette Warren, Shelby Warren, Jr., Deshon Warren, Jevoniou Warren, Jakeiya (Cleon) Anderson, Jamillah Warren, LaShaunda Warren, Raymond Tyler, Jr., Cherese Thomas, Ayindya Thomas, and special granddaughter, Breona Westbrooks, all of Flint; 55 great-grandchildren; sisters, Loria Turner, and Willie C. Daniel of St. Louis, MO, Mae Vassar of Omaha, NE and Alice Turnipseed of Flint; sister-in-law, Ruth Crayton of St. Louis, MO; special cousins, Jeffie Cummings, Annie Dobbs, Mildred Cummings, and Clifton Turner; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Gustavia Crayton; husband, Virgil O. Warren; 5 brothers, Clifton, Loyd, Loyce, Paris, and Ellis Crayton; 3 sisters, Laverne Adams, Mary Williams and Mildred Christian; great-granddaughter, Markeyla Washington. The family would like to acknowledge with sincere appreciation the many comforting and encouraging words, floral arrangements, and other acts of kindness during our loss. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the following: Hurley Medical Center Cardiac ICU (4th floor) staff, Valley Area of Aging, Pastor Morris Collins, Sr., the Mt.
