VARY, Mr. Jo'Nie A. - Age 18, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:00 AM Thursday, October 3, 2019 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Thursday. Mr. Vary will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday. Mr. Jo’Nie Ava’Sean Love’ette Vary was born September 9, 2001. he was the beloved son of Johnnie Vary and Oshandre Brewton. Jo’Nie was resident of Flint, Michigan. As a job, he worked at Saint Marys Catholic Church on the Lawn Crew. Jo’Nie attended Flint Public Schools. Mr. Jo’Nie Vary loved to travel, attend basketball games, going shopping, spending time with his siblings and friends, and going to amusement parks. He was fearless, there wasn’t a ride he wouldn’t get on. Mr. Vary cherished his son, spending time with him. All he wanted was to make sure that he had everything he needed. Mr. Vary enjoyed riding to Detroit with one of his best friends, Alejandro, to eat, preferably to get Lamb Chops. He always talked and dreamt about opening his own restaurant when he had gotten older. Mr. Vary was an extremely smart and bright young man. His heart was grand and his smile would light up a room. Jo’Nie knew he was handsome which made him boogee and conceited. Mr. Vary was an honest, loyal, caring, loving, dependable, reliable brother, friend, son, father that will be missed tremendously. Mr. Jo’Nie Ava’Sean Love’ette Vary leaves to cherish his memory: son, Kyi’Ree Vary; mother, Johnnie Vary; father, Oshondre Brewton; siblings, Jhon, Aniyah, Oshondre Jr., Harmonie, Shalisha, Antonio and Lenzell; aunts, Sekeda, Kimberly, Andrea and Sharonda; uncles, Frederick, Markus, Shannon, Ondrey, Ladonta and Omar; cousins, Paradise, Avashia, John Jr. “JT”, Shianne, Elisha and Marcus Jr. “MJ”; mother of his child, Layla Eubanks; a host of other relatives and friends including special friend Alejandro Quintana. Mr. Vary was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Carolyn Sue Kinchen and Dorothy Brewton; great-grandmother, Dorothy Vary; great-grandfather, Herman Lacey; uncle, John Fred Vary Jr; aunts, Stacey Stansberry and Elizabeth Vary; favorite cousin, Antonio “Tony Man” Colen; and best friend, Deajion “Dee Parker” Parker.
