Mr. Jermaine "Jahid" Jordan

JORDAN, Mr. Jermaine "Jahid" - Age 43, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at his residence in Waterford Twp., MI. Family hour 1:30PM Saturday October 15, 2016 at Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Interment Garden of Peace Cemetery, 1310 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek, MI, 48473. Mr. Jihad Jordan devoted his life to Islam at the age of 16. He graduated from Flint Northwestern High School. He also attended Barber College and later opened his own barber shop. He was a loving, giving and compassionate person. Jihad loved his family; children and grandchildren. His hobbies included: eating, traveling and joking around. Jihad met his wife in 2007, during their years together, they shared; love, laughter and everlasting happiness. Together, they traveled the world and enjoyed spending time with family. Jihad was loved by his children and they cherished every moment spent with him. Mr. Jihad Jordan leaves to cherish his sweet memories: wife, LaTrice Mapps of Waterford, MI; children, Jermaine Jordan Jr. of Flint, Jakhir Jordan of Nashville, TN, Erris and Ashley Jordan of Indianapolis, IN; step-children, Malesha Mapps (Keith Hatton), Brittney and Carl Mapps all of Waterford, MI; grandchildren, Jermaine III, Kadrian, Kaceion and Erriel; mother, Carolyn Jordan; sisters, Takara Carter of Flint and LaToya Jordan-King of Dallas, TX; niece, Da’Mya; nephews, Da’Kari, Corneilius and Rahshmeer; aunt, Ora Lee Carter of Flint; uncles, Vernon William of California, Kenneth Carter of Flint and James (Lorraine) Carter of Tennessee; father-in-law, Robert Mapps; sisters-in-law, Robin Lee, Lashawn Mapps, Robbie Lucas, Lakeah Mapps and Crystal Mapps; brothers-in-law, Darel King and Robert Mapps; a host of cousins other relatives and friends including best-friend, Tamika Hogan. Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by, father, Ray L. Carter; son, Determen Jones; grandparents, James and Clara Jordan and Ray and Acie Carter; cousins, Akeem and Trashawn.
