Mr. Jeffery Hall

HALL, Mr. Jeffery - Age 66, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 10:00 AM Monday, November 11, 2024 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home., 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Pastor Allen Overton, officiating. Interment Gracelawn Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the chapel 10:00 AM Monday. Mr. Hall will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Sunday, with family present from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM to receive friends. Mr. Jeffery Hall was born February 16, 1958 at Hurley Hospital in Flint, Michigan. He was the sixth child of Bennie and Carrie Bell Hall. Jeff was always very close to both his mother and father all of his life, he was consolation to them in their latter years. Jeff graduated from Northern High School. He then went to work at McLaren-Flint as a Security Guard. His great person-ality in greeting people go noticed and he was offered the posi-tion of patient transportation which he did for twenty-five years until his health caused him to retire. Jeff was a natural and in his element caring for the pa-tients as he moved them around the hospital for their medical needs. He was engaging with them to the point where many could be heard to ask for the tall skinny guy to transport them. Jeff loved to go fishing with his family and friends. He loved to dance and when the oldies came on the radio, he would turn the volume up and start singing. Let’s talk Jeff’s most impressive pastime that of ensuring his chariot was immaculate and stayed clean as a whistle to escort his Queen Linda around town. Jeff was a lovely person and he was there for the older people in the family and he cherished his wife. Mr. Jeffery Hall leaves to cherish his memory: wife of thirty five years, Linda Hall; god-daughters, Brianna and Kiana Canada; sisters, Carrie Ruth (Albert) Ross, Doris and Joyce Hall, Rachel (Richard) Smith and Candice Moore; brothers, Benjamin Hall, Y.C. (Donna) Hall, Dwight (Barbara) Hall; aunts, Carrie Harris, all of Flint, Dorothy (Jimmy) Hinkle, Ruby Jamison of Rex, GA, Eunice (Charlie) Woods of LaGrange, GA, Ethel (Lee) Knapp of Flushing, MI, Annie Frost of Atlanta, GA, Daisy Hor-ton and Elaine Shelton of Flint; uncles, James (Ann) Hall of La-Grange, GA; mother-in-law, Mrs. Inez Andrews; sister-in-law, Syvella Brown; brothers-in-law, Willie Janes (Karen) Andrews, Clay (Pat) Andrews both of Nashville, TN and Kevin Andrews of Flint; a host of other relatives and friends including special friend, Nathaniel Canada. Mr. Hall was preceded in his death by his parents, Carrie Bell and Bennie Hall; brother, James Hall; sister, Bernice Hall; nephews, Deon Hall and Y. C. Hall Jr.; father-in-law, Theodore Andrews; brother-in-law, Mark Andrews; and sister-in-law, Renee Andrews-Chaney, Nephews; Albert Ross Jr., DeAndre Hall.
