JACKSON, Mrs. Jean Marlene (Cooper) - Age 54, passed away Friday, July 15, 2005 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30AM Saturday July 23, 2005 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Saturday. Mrs. Jackson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Friday. Ms. Jean Marlene (Cooper) Jackson was born on October 19, 1950 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. Robert Cooper, Sr. and Martha (Denson) Cooper. Ms. Jean (Cooper) Jackson attended Flint Community Schools, graduating from Flint Northwestern High School. She later attended Detroit College of Business. Jean retired from Buick, Fisher Body Plant. Her hobbies included reading books, watching television and drawing. Jean was a very sweet, soft-spoken, gentle, kind and loving person. Ms. Jean Marlene (Cooper) Jackson leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Laelonni Jackson; son, Teril (Natasha) Cooper, Sr.; 4 grandchildren, Ocean, Serenity and Teril Cooper, Jr. and Shaniah Moore; step-grandson, Le'Quence Hill; grandmother, Lucile Denson; 4 brothers, Robert (Cynthia) Cooper, Jr., Jerry Lamont (Genoola) Cooper, Rodney Cooper and Ray (Melanie) Hawkins; 5 nieces, Karmela and Latrice Cooper, Robin Hayes, Airayna and Ebony Hawkins; 4 nephews, Robert Cooper, III, Jerry Lamont Cooper, Jr., Santino Cooper and Rodney Cooper, Jr.; 4 aunts, Pauline Brown, Edna Robinson, Dorothy Flippin and Mildred Cooper; 4 uncles, Benny (Annabell) Cooper, Dr. Billy Cooper, Jackie (Velma) Cooper and Elton Denson; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including special friend, Denise. Ms. Jean (Cooper) Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Cooper, Sr. and Martha (Denson) Cooper; grandfathers, William Denson and Benjamin Cooper; paternal grandmother, Lottie Cooper; aunts, Thelma Patton and Lottie Woodard; uncles, William and Gerald Denson; cousins, Lucile Denson, Winifred Patton and Jonathan Patton.
