HALL, Mr. Jayden - Age 14, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at his residence. Family Hour 10:30 AM Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Kingdom of Heaven Ministries , 2430 Dutcher Rd, Flint, Michigan with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM, Pastor Lonnie Brown, officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Road. Family and friends will assemble at the Church 10:30 AM Saturday. Mr. Hall will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd, and may be viewed Friday, from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. It is with broken hearts and deep love that we share the passing of our beloved Jayden Davon Hall, age 14, of Flint, Michigan. Jayden left this earth far too soon on July 29, 2025, but he will forever live on in our hearts and memories. Jayden was born on November 5, 2010, to his mother Tia Hall and father E'lon Shumpert. He was a quiet, gentle soul with a heart full of love. Though shy by nature, once you got to know Jayden, you saw how funny, kind, and thoughtful he really was. He had a soft smile that could warm a room and a spirit that made people feel safe and seen. Jayden was saved and knew the Lord (a faith nurtured and passed down to him by his grandmother, Mary) who made sure he understood and felt the presence of the Lord throughout his life. He attended Second Street Learning Academy and was an all-A student. He enjoyed playing basketball, listening to music, liked to cook, and had a great sense of style always looking his best. He enjoyed the simple things—spending time with his siblings and family. Jayden didn’t need to be the center of attention to make an impact—his presence alone spoke volumes. He had a calm energy, a loyal heart, and a love that ran deep. Jayden leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Tia Hall and E'lon Shumpert; his siblings, Ti'Arrieon Beaugard, Ja'Kari Childress-Hall, Mekhi Shumpert, Morgan Shumpert, Elijah Shumpert (all of Flint, MI), and Nolan Shumpert (Dallas, TX); his nephew, Ky’Zeire Beaugard; his grandparents, Mary (Gregory) Thompson, Daniel (Rene) Hall, Elitha Shumpert, and Yuvonne Williams (Grand), who was like a grandmother to him; his great-grandmothers, Juanita Watson and Carrie Hall (all of Flint, MI); his aunts, Alicia Hunter (Missouri City, TX) and Erica Hunter (Jacksonville, FL), along with a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends who will forever cherish his memory. Jayden also shared a special bond with his aunt, Tanisha Thompson; uncles, Adrian Hunter and Lon’Gregory Williams II; and cousins, Lon’Gregory Williams III and Londyn Williams. Close friends who held a special place in his heart include Mali'Kye Bradshaw, Ka'Lon Smith, Keith Evans, Dion Pollard, Razach Spillers, Albert Lee, Alayja Granberry, U'Riyah Langford, and Shzaya Jones. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Curtis Hunter Jr.; great-grandfather, Earl Watson Sr.; great-grandmother, Gerthine Shumpert; great-aunt, Darlene Watson; special cousins, Tiphanie and Rockie Mayfield Jr.; cousin Tayvion Crowder; god-sister, Isis Walker; and friend, Dontavis J. Moore. JAYDEN, YOU WERE ONE OF A KIND. QUIET BUT POWERFUL, SWEET BUT STRONG. WE’LL CARRY YOUR MEMORY WITH US ALWAYS. REST EASY, BABY BOY. WE LOVE YOU FOREVER.
