WILLIAMS, Mr. Jason Scott - Age 50, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10AM Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 4805 N. Saginaw St., with funeral service commencing at 11AM. Rev. Dr. Henry Fuller, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10AM Thursday. Mr. Williams will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed 12PM-8PM Wednesday. Mr. Jason Scott Williams was born November 29, 1968 in Flint, Michigan, the son of H. Jean and the late Gloria Williams, and step-mother, Anita Williams. He accepted Christ as his Savior as a young adult and was baptized at Upper Room Missionary Baptist Church in Flint under the Pastorage of the late Rev. Roosevelt Deloach. Jason graduated from Flint Central High School. Over the years he was self-employed doing lawn care, City of Flint, PAM Transporting and most recently KFC. As a truck driver he got to travel and see a lot of the country. Jason loved animals and never met a stray he didn’t take in as his own. You could not tell him anything about his dogs, Maxie, Baby Girl and Money. He also loved music and swore he was a rapper waiting to be discovered. Jason had a kind and generous heart. He was the primary caregiver for his mom until she had to be hospitalized. He dearly loved his daughter, Paradise and spending time with his only grandson, Orlando. Mr. Jason Scott Williams leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Paradise Ameera Williams; grandson, Orlando Ameer Mack; parents, H. Jean (Anita) Williams; grandmother, Charity Williams; 2 sisters, Tamitha (Tommy) Taylor and Le’Tina Williams, both of Flint; brother, Stacey (Teneya) Williams of Missouri City, TX; 5 nieces, Bria Taylor, Jasmine Shannon, Kenedii Williams, Skylar Williams and Serenity Williams; 2 nephews, Tommy Taylor III and Stacey S. Williams; 4 aunts, Lottie Reid, Linda Raulston, both of Flint, Virginia (Rev. John) Beckem of Southfield, MI and Josephine Union of San Antonio, TX; a host of cousins including special cousins he grew up with, Andel Madison, Anthony Madison, Regina Madison, Rubyo Bloodworth, Chris Rich and Eric Rogers; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Lynne Carradine, Gordon Ball, Jerell Loper, Davidian Simpson, Flarzell Bell, Rodrick Hill, John Harrison, Jafari Shumpert, Demetrius Richmond, Maurice Adams and Anthony Gray. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Williams; grandparents, Clarence Reid, Alberta Reid, Fannie Reid and Hercy Williams; nephew, Tommy Taylor Jr.; aunts, Carol Madison, Marietta Rich and Lillian Knight; uncles, Gilliam “Butch” Washington, Kenneth Williams and Anthony Williams. The family would like to express special thanks to Rev. Dr. Henry L. Fuller Jr. and the Mt.
