ADAMS, Mr. Jaquez Milando Darnell - Age 17, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour10:00 AM Friday, January 19, 2018 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM Rev. Michael Riouse, officiating. Family and Friends will assemble at the Chapel 10:00 AM Friday. There will be no public viewing. Mr. Jaquez Milando Adams was born October 18, 1999 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Tanisha Engram and Millando Adams. He attended Flint Northwestern High School and the Job Corps of Flint with an interest in construction. Jaquez began working at KFC while attending school. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends, playing video games and sports. Jaquez also enjoyed learning about different animals. His greatest joy was being a big brother and uncle. Jaquez was a high spirited young man with a great since of humor. He loved to make people laugh. Mr. Jaquez Milando Adams leaves to cherish his memory: parents, Tanisha Engram and Millando Adams; grandparents, Sheila Engram, Darnell and Stacey Milton; 10 sisters, Janiyah Adams, Jaynea Adams, Mekhia Adams, Micheri Adams, Mo’shala Adams, Markeeta Adams, Mokresha Adams, Chamari Alexander, Danieke Finney and Dalannah Alexander of Tennessee; 8 brothers, Jaquan Adams, Jaquese Adams, J’Halyne Adams, Armani Adams of Texas, William Holden III, Milando Adams, Millando (Ashley) Adams Jr. and Chad Alexander of Tennessee; aunts, Kaylor Adams, Katie Cooper, BarShay Brewton and Shaquetta Keels, Shelisa Henderson, Britany Haynesworth and Lika Muse. 2 uncles, Thomas Turnbow and Brashawn Brewton; a host of cousins including special cousins, Monika Adams, Takia Turnbow and Daisa Keels; a host of other relatives and friends including special friend, Kentywon. Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his grandparents, Constance “Elaine” Adams and Oliver “OB” Butler; great-grandparents, Dorthy Milton, Allen Engram, Bertha and Tony Redditt; and great-great-great-grandmother, Oresia Dukes.
