BROWN, Mr. Janaril "Choo" - Age 38, departed this earth, Monday, October 10, 2011 at his residence. Family hour 10 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2011 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 1083 E. Stewart Ave., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Pastor Lewis Randolph officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10 a.m. Monday. Mr. Brown will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Janaril Lee “Choo” Brown was born March 4, 1973 at Flint Osteopathic Hospital to the late Mrs. Lucille Harwell Brown and Mr. Willie Lee Brown. Janaril was educated by Flint Public Schools, graduating from Flint Northern High School, “Class of 1992.” Yes, he was a Viking. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 15 in 1988 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized by Pastor Lewis Randolph. “Choo” truly enjoyed life with his nieces and nephews and he touched many hearts during his lifetime. He leaves to cherish his sweet and precious memories: devoted father, Mr. Willie L. Brown; devoted sisters, Mrs. Cornell (James) Walton of Clio, MI, Ms. Patricia Brown of Atlanta, GA, and Ms. Christine Brown of Flint, MI; devoted brothers, Mr. Tony L. (Jackie) Brown of Warren, OH, Mr. Rodger (Carol) Hood of Flint, and Mr. Finis Harwell of Nashville, TN; wife, Mrs. Adria Brown; devoted nieces, Mia Rayshun Johnson, Ja’Nae Christine Walton, Christina Brown, Chanel Brown, Colby Brown, Jada Brown, Jasmine Brown, Mynaisha Johnson, Stenisha Shanks, Vonda Bonner, Rhonda Bonner, Tawana, Taniga, TaTa, and Tenisha; devoted nephews, James Cornell Walton, Finis Harwell II, Anthony Harwell, Bubby Johnson, and Jaidyn James Walton; devoted cousins, Erma (Tarell) Shaw, Mary (Charles) Dixon; special "Road Dawgs”, Desmond Toney, Casey LeFlore; a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Harwell Brown; brother, Leon D. Brown; grandmother; aunts and uncles.
