WHITLOW, Mr. James - Age 80, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Heartland Healthcare-Fosterian in Flushing, MI. Family hour 10:00 AM Friday, August 12, 2016 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM Pastor Kenneth L. Stewart officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Friday. Mr. Whitlow will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12PM - 8:00 PM Thursday. Mr. James Whitlow was born January 12, 1936 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Mr. James Whitlow Sinclair and Ms. Annie Mae Wilson. He retired from General Motors after 35 + years of service. He was widowed at the time of death. He was a father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and brother. He was a well-respected man and many people knew him. He was a family man who loved to travel and eat great food.
