MOSLEY, Mr. James "Ham Bone" - Age 62, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2009 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Memorial Service 11AM Friday, January 30, 2009 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., Rev. Betty Pressley officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 11AM Friday. Mr. Mosley will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed during memorial service only. Mr. James Albert Mosley “Ham Bone” was born January 26, 1946 in Peterman, Alabama, the son of A.C. and Celestine Mosley. In 1970, James moved to Flint, Michigan, where he made his home away from home for 39 years. He was joined in Holy Matrimony to his best friend and soulmate, Cathy Diane Holley. Mr. James Mosley worked for General Motors for 33 years, retiring in 2006. Mr. James Albert Mosley leaves to cherish his memory 4 children, Mr. & Mrs. Vickey and Rick Mathis of Stone Mountain, GA, Eric and Chantel Mosley of Flint, and Donyea Buckley of Laurel, MS; 4 grandchildren, Scottie Moore of Stone Mountain, GA, Deora Kaylonie Patrick, Tamya Buckley and Kamora Cathy Patrick all of Flint; mother, Celestine Mosley of Monroeville, AL; 3 sisters, Diane Mosley of Pensacola, FL, Diane Reese of Mobile, AL and devoted sister, Mr. & Mrs. Vera and Thomas Armstrong of Moss Point, MS; 6 brothers, J.C. Mosley of Newark, NJ, Mr. & Mrs.Woodrow and Betty Mosley, Mr. & Mrs. William and Ernestine Mosley, Freddy Mosley, Mr. & Mrs. Clifton and Christine Mosley all of Monroeville, AL, Mr. & Mrs. John and Janice Mosley of Moss Point, MS; 2 sisters-in-law, Chenise Holley of Flint, and Debra Holley of Birmingham, AL; 3 brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Thomas of CA, Michael Poole and Stephon Poole both of Flint; a very devoted mother-in-law, Rev. Faye Holley of Flint, MI; 2 special nephews, Marvin Earl Mosley and Roderick Maurice Armstrong; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Allen Bond, Lee Marshall, John Carter, Judy Jackson and Mr. Vic. Mr. Mosley was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Diane Holley Mosley (October 2005); father, A.C. Mosley; grandmother, Eliza Tolbert; sisters, Margaret Mosley and Jennifer Mosley.
