Mr. James Albert Click

CLICK, Mr. James Albert - Age 85, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at his residence. Family hour 8:30 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 9 a.m. Minister Stanley Click, officiating. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, G-4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 8:30 a.m. Friday. Mr. Click will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday. Mr. James Albert Click was born on August 26, 1930 in Crossett, Arkansas. He was born to the union of the late Willis and Trudy Click. He went home to be with the Lord on November 4, 2015. James graduated high school from the Ashley County Training Center. He served in the United States Army where he fought in the Korean War and received an Honorable Discharge. James moved to Flint, Michigan in 1947 where he met and married the late Naomi (Cunningham) Click. He retired from General Motors where he worked for over 30 years. James had a love for all sports and he was an avid reader; keeping up with world and current events. He had a great love for Jazz and the Blues. He was a quiet but very loving and kind person who will be truly missed. Mr. Click was preceded in death by his parents, Trudy and Willis Click; his grandparents; sister, Costella Johnson; 3 brothers, Willis, Jr., Milton and Eunis Click; and his aunts; uncles; mother-in-law; father-in-law; brother-in-law. Mr. James Albert Click leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved elder brother, W.C. (Murtis) Williams of Detroit, MI; 6 nieces, Ruby Johnson, Eunice Smith, Barbara Click and Trudy Guy, all of Crosett, Arkansas, Janice Bradford of Powder Springs, Georgia and Pamela Frazier of Toledo, Ohio; 7 nephews, Minister Stanley Click of Tennessee, Dennis Jenkins, Robert Johnson, Andre Cunningham, Terry Cunningham and Pastor Robert Cunningham, all of Ohio and Steven Frazier of Georgia; Cousin, Nathaniel Click; 2 sisters-in-law, Ovatta Click of Crossett, AR and Margaret Haney of Chicago, IL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends including special friend, Walter (Buster) James of Michigan. The family would like to express special thanks to all persons who assisted and cared for brother and Uncle Jimmy.
