WHITE, Mrs. Jacqueline W. - age 73 of Flint, Michigan, Went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 19, 2015 at her residence. Family hour 11 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at Christ Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 317 E. Hamilton Ave. with funeral service commencing at 12 p.m. Rev. Dr. Mark Anthony Jones, Sr. officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11 a.m. Friday. Mrs. White will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd.and may be viewed from 12 p.m.-8 p.m. Thursday with the family present 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Mrs. Jacqueline Wilhelmina White was the first of six children born to the union of William Fletcher Waddell and Nannie Vernice Hamlin Waddell on August 26, 1941 in Reidsville, NC. Jackie graduated from Booker T. Washington High school, “Class of 1957”. She continued her education by working in the Flint Public School System for 37 years, and later retired as a supervisor for the Flint Public Library. Jackie was a strong woman of God; she was a faithful member of Christ Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church where she used her experience in education to serve as a substitute Sunday school teacher and bible study instructor. Additionally, she was a long time member of the mass choir and worked on the finance committee. She loved creating beautiful keepsakes for others. She loved sewing, crafting, quilting, doll making, and even graphic design. You name it…. She made it. Many family members and friends can attest to receiving gifts made with love from Jackie. Jackie always put family first. She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Robert White; daughters, Janice Bealore of Flint, MI, and Gloria (Fred) Bealore-Prince of Colorado Springs, CO; son, Gerald (Rhonda) Bealore of Southfield, MI; grandchildren, Ja’Net Bealore of Fort. Worth, TX, Darnell (Kelly) Weeden, Sean Weeden, Kellen Weeden and Tashawna Woodson of Colorado Springs, CO, Nathan (Brianna) Weeden of Wahiawa, HI, Taneika (Robert) Cobbs of Killen, TX, Lauren Bealore of Southfield, MI; great grandchildren, Ja’Kobe, Joy, Lillian, Aurora, Jazmine, Jaden, and Callista; mother, Nannie Vernice Hamlin Waddell; sisters, Eusette E. Miller of Flint, MI, Constance P. Overton of Orange County, CA, Vernice L. Thorn of Chicago, IL; brothers, Godfrey F. (Sheila) Waddell and Jonathan E. Waddell of Flint, MI; adopted children, Curtis and Vertricia Perry, Khalil (Paula) Hafiz, Robert “Jimmy” James and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William Fletcher Waddell.
