TARTT, Ms. Jacqueline Michelle - Age 28, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 at her residence. Family hour 1:30 PM Friday, July 29, 2016 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM Pastor Floyd Fuller, Jr. officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Friday. Ms. Tartt will lie in state in Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM Thursday, with the family present from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM to receive friends. Ms. Jacqueline Michelle Tartt was born March 28, 1988 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Bernard E. “Killer” Jamison and Zlotta L. Tartt. She was the youngest of five siblings. Ms. Tartt attended Flint Community Schools and earned her GED from Davenport Schools. She lived most her life in Flint. “Jackie” as she was affectionately known as gave her life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at her home church, Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church. She loved spending time using her talents to style hair, a gift she innately received. In her pass time cleaning and being with her family and friends brought her great joy. On August 28, 2006 her daughter, Zamarhya Lenise Tartt and on July 20, 2009 her son, Ra Jhan Jones, Jr. was born. On June 23, 2013, she gave birth to another son, Rondo Jones, who passed away during child birth. Family was very important to “Jackie.” She loved her family and her family loved her. Being the youngest she was a daddy’s girl. On July 25, 2016, Jacqueline Michelle Tartt answered the call of the Lord and entered into eternal rest. Truly she will be missed by her family and friends but we bow our heads and hearts in submission to God’s will and hope to live a life so we may join her in that heavenly home where we will part no more. Ms. Jacqueline Michelle Tartt leaves to cherish her memory: children, Zamarhya Lenise Tartt and Ra Jhan Jones, Jr.; parents, Bernard E. Jamison and Zlotta L. Tartt; grandparents, Jack Jr. and Lena Tartt; 2 sisters, Killotta (Fredrick) Walls and Kilnesha Jamison; 2 brothers, Bernard “Scooter” and Brandon Tartt; aunts, Jacqueline Hunter, Nicckhale (Reevie) Sundai, Kimberly (Ronald) Stamps, Yeaka (Tyrodney) Jefferson, Tymika Jamison and Lisha Williams; uncles, Jack (Amanda) Tartt III, Ronald Jamison, Ivan Jamison, Curtis Jamison, Brian Jamison and Othniel Jamison; special family, Bertha Watson, Michael Jenkins and Ra Jhan Sr.; a host of nieces including, Xeryia Tartt; a host of nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends and family, Brent Stamps, Aubrey Porter, Brittney Tartt, Shanae Williams, Jaquez Jamison, Akeem Jamison, Willie Woods, Jr., Ashley Aldridge, Alassya Brown, Donisha Gilbert, Shante Pippen, Kasandra Wall, Kilee Tucker, Dominque Walls and Sherita Williams. Ms. Tartt was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry Jr. and Dorothy Jamison; uncles, Harry Jamison III and James Tartt; and great-grandparents.
