LOUIS, Ms. Jacquelin - Age 66, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 in Jacksonville, Florida. Family hour 10:30 AM Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Cathedral of Faith C.O.G.I.C., 6031 Dupont St., with funeral service commenting at 11:00 AM. Bishop Christopher Martin, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30 AM Saturday, May 11, 2024. Ms. Louis will lie in state in the chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. Public visitation will be during family hour only. Jacquelin Louis was born November 7, 1957 in Stuart, Florida the daughter of George Washington and Ruth Paige. The majority of her adult life was lived in Riviera Beach, Florida. She was living in Flint, Michigan from 2020 until her transition. She had the privilege and honor to find three church homes. Pentecostal Church Of God In Christ, Inc., (COGIC) Pastor Eddie D. Evans Jr. in Rivera Beach, Florida. Jacquelin relocated back to Michigan back in 2000 where she attended Bountiful Love Ministries COGIC under the leadership of the late Superintendent Kevelin B. Jones, Sr. after leaving BLM her and her two kids left and became members of the worlds most exciting church Cathedral of Faith Church under the leadership of Bishop Christopher Martin, Sr., during her time of working she was a CNA and did assistant living. Jacquelin loved reading her bible and listening to music. She could also whoop you in some Gin Rummy and Spades. Jacquelin was a great daughter loving and protective mother and a devoted witness for the Lord. Spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ without a platform or mic in her hand is something she did everytime she came in contact with anyone. Jacquelin Louis leaves to cherish her memory: son, George Louis; grandchildren, Jacob Louis of West Palm Beach, FL and Londyn Lynette Nicole Powell of Flint; sisters, Cecilia Stephens, Tennille Blake, Estella Mitchell, Sandra Bradly and Brenda Sweet; brothers, Lincoln and Fredrick Mitchell; Lavard Louis Thomas, Jr and Richard Nelson; nieces and nephews, Tonya Louis, Keisha Hampton, Princess Parker, Larrietta (Candy) Sweet, Lynita Sweet, Tina Sweet, Monisha Morris, Deharris Mitchell, Darius Parker, Shamar, Oneil, Jamal (Blake), James Patrick, (Antonio Louis, Deondrick Louis Chris Louis, Bobby Fowlkes all of Flint; cousins, Ray Bryson, Johnny Frank, Ann Jackson, Retta Hamilton, Ora Hamilton, Mary Lee, Hope, Scott and Jermaine Jackson; sister-in-law, Lynita Nelson; brother-in-law, Alden Blake; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Rosemary Coleman of Florida, Rosa Peak of Florida, Valerie Fineley, Florida, Annette Coleman of Florida, Sebron Tony and Faye Armstrong of Las Vegas, NV and Brenda Brook of Flint.
