Mrs. Irinia Frances Ross

ROSS, Mrs. Irinia Frances - Age 89, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at Genesys Health Park, Grand Blanc, MI. Family hour 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at St. John Vianney Church, 2415 Bagley St., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4142 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:00 AM Wednesday. Mrs. Ross will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday. Mrs. Irinia Frances Ross was born October 8, 1928 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of George and Frances Peters. She was a Flint resident and a member of St. Agnes Church and St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Irinia graduated from Flint Northwestern High School, “Class of 1985.” She loved her Art & Painting and sitting at the table watching the children that lived next door play outside. Irinia also loved sitting on the porch enjoying the summer. She was a very strong willed, kind hearted, caring and loving person to know. Mrs. Irinia Frances Ross leaves to cherish her memory: 3 daughters, Linda Ross, Caroline Ross (James) Johnson, and Connie (Ross) Frame; 3 sons, Ricky Ross, Celestene Ross and Lonnie Ross; 9 grandchildren, Maria (Kevin) Hamlett, Jeffrey (Sandy) Ross, Justin (Tina) Johnson, Samantha Frame, Michael Frame, Brenda Stiff, Tonya Baldwin, all of Flint, Tabby of Mt. Morris, MI and Jeremy Johnson of Columbiaville, MI; 7 great-grandchildren, Joanna and Deanna Ross, Louis Sandifer, Alyssa Stiff, Gage Stiff, Alayzah Ragland and Jasmine Ragland; 2 sisters, Veronica Flint of Tucson, AZ and Christina Adamson of Flint; 3 brothers, Erwin Peter of Georgia, Elias Peters of Burton, MI and Clarence Peters of Durand, MI; a host of nieces including special nieces, Audra (Al) Perkins and Julie Adamson, all of Flint; 2 sisters-in-law, Susan Peters and Betty Peters, both of Burton, MI; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, William Norfleet, Charles Bady and James Maupin. Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Ross; son, Eugene Ross; parents, George and Frances Peters; sisters, Cecilia Sanzere and Mary Peters; brothers, Edward Peters and Lavern Peters.
