REYNOLDS, Mrs. Ida Mae - Age 77, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30AM Saturday August 20, 2005 at Vernon Chapel A.M.E. Church, 5802 Dupont St., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11:00AM. Rev. Roosevelt Brown officiating, Rev. Ernest J. Garrison, Host Pastor. Interment Graceland Cemetery, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30AM Saturday. Mrs. Reynolds will then be taken to Pine Bluff Mortuary, 908 E. 5th St., Pine Bluff, AR, 71601, (870) 535-2224. Mrs. Reynolds will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM today Friday. Mrs. Ida Mae Reynolds was born on November 9, 1927 in Arkansas, the daughter of Willie and Mary Hoover. She attended Merrill High School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Mrs. Reynolds was converted at an early age and joined Mt. Pleasant A.M.E. Church. On October 28, 1944 she was united in Holy Matrimony to Sherman T. Reynolds. Mrs. Reynolds was a faithful member of Vernon Chapel A.M.E. Church where she served on the Ladies of Vernon Senior Usher Board and the Kitchen Committee. Retiring, due to vision problems, after 17 years of dedicated service as a bus driver for Lazy Leopard Daycare. She loved "good" gospel singing. Mrs. Ida Mae Reynolds leaves to cherish her memory: 6 god children, Michael Morse, Lori Hodo, Roderick Norman, Ronald Jackson, Sarah, Eric Hodo; aunt, Martha Dandridge Jones; cousins, Benny Reynolds, Mary Brady, Ilene Williams, Cora Stone, Katie (Royce) Sanders, Dandridge and William Families; sisters and brothers-in-laws, including the Reynolds Family; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, the McCree Family; neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. William Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harden, Julie Mae Thurman, Joyce Bah, Ms. Easter, Jeraldine Harris, Althalene Clark, Gloria Goodrum, Delphia Fisher, Herbert Hughes, Sandra Pugh, Mr. and Mrs. Tyler and the Hodo Family. Mrs. Ida Mae Reynolds was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman T. Reynolds; parents, Willie and Mary Hoover. The family would like to express special thanks to Benny Reynolds, Katie Sanders and Alexis Marie Hardnett, the staff at Hurley Medical Center, the staff at Davita Dialysis (Park Plaza), and the Vernon Chapel A.M.E.
