WRIGHT, Mr. Herman - Age 67, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2012 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 2 p.m. Min. Eric Marks officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 p.m. Monday. Mr. Wright will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Herman Wright was born January 23, 1944 in Flint, Michigan, the son of James and T. Jarvis Wright. He attended Damascus Holy Life Baptist Church. Herman was a sharp, clean dresser. He loved football, basketball and doing puzzles. Mr. Herman Wright leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Sandra Gaylor-Wright of Flint; son, Tracy (Donna) Wright; stepchildren, Vanessa (Alonzo) Traylor, Anthony Gaylor, Mary Gaylor, Chester Cox and Delores Gaylor; 24 grandchildren including special grandson, Tyshawn Gaylor; 8 great-grandchildren; nieces, Tina Howard and Lynn Gaylor; nephews, Ronnie Green of Boston, MA, Daron Gaylor and Shawn (Anitra) Brown; aunts, Mamie Thomas of Detroit, MI and Lily Mae Wright; uncles, Charles “Sonny Man” Clayton, Eddie Gaylor of Flint; great-uncle, Sifus Thompson; a host of cousins including, Freddie Thomas and Kenny (Sue) Wright; sisters-in-law, Barbara Gaylor and April Bliss; brothers-in-law, James A., Jr. (Causandra) Gaylor and Wayne Bliss; a host of other relatives and friends including, special friend and brother, Uluis “Dougie”; special friends, Angela Wright, Mr. Chappy, Sonny, Mr. Jim Marble and Herby Jones. Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his son, Troy Sullivan; parents, James and T. Jarvis Wright; sister; Janice E. Darrough and Norma Jean Wright; father and mother-in-law, James A., Sr. and Mary Gaylor; granddaughter, Joy Cox; great-niece, Olivia Howard; nephew, Ralph Green and; cousin, Cloes Thems.
