BRADLEY, Mrs. Henrietta - Age 85, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at her residence. Family hour 11 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 1083 E. Stewart Ave., with funeral service commencing at 12Noon. Pastor Lewis Randolph, officiating. Interment Lovedale Memorial Cemetery, G-5175 E. Bristol Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11 a.m. Mrs. Bradley will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Henrietta Lucy Bradley was born on June 7, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Ralph and Mary Doggett. She was a resident of Flint, Michigan for over 55 years. Henrietta was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, serving on the Esther Missionary Circle, Senior & Missions Choir and the Flint City-Wide Choir. She worked several jobs before retiring from the Flint Board of Education. Henrietta loved shopping, cooking, spending time with her family and with children. Mrs. Henrietta Lucy Bradley leaves to cherish her life and memory: husband of 65 years, Octave Bradley; 4 daughters, Francina (Samuel) Avery, all of Flint, Rev. Lynn Luelen of Ann Arbor, MI, Rosalind (Anthony) Roberson of Flint and Rev. Jacqueline Gadson of Detroit, MI; son, Byron Bradley of Flint; 11 grandchildren, Denise (Rev. Daniel) Moore, Darius (Jamie) Bradley, all of Flint, Daryl (Yoko) Avery of Okinawa, Japan, Lawrence (fiancé-Topaz) Bradley of Flint, Kenyetta (Craig) Brewer of Ann Arbor, MI, SharRod (Mercy) Battle of Hutto, TX, Shawn and Sybil Dunigan of Flint, LaShante Black of Grand Blanc, MI, Andre Bass of Dayton, OH and Cherita Bass of Nashville, TN; 15 great-grandchildren, Dedreco Naylor, Jr., TraVonte Naylor, Tiffany (Richard) Harris, Ontario Dunigan, DeMarkus Bracy, Jaylen Bradley, Kimani Avery, Curby Amando, Jaidon Avery, Daniel Moore II, Danielle Moore, Shameka Drake, Dounesha Scott, Sha-Ron and Sarai Battle; niece, Carolyn (Jack) Brown; nephews, Robert (Sandy) Davis and Clifford Davis; a host of cousins, including special cousin, Barbara (Rev. George) Dunigan; a host of god-children including Simuel Overall, Dorothy Black, Cynthia Clark, Loretta Black, Vincent Price, Latoya Price and Sherry Wilson; a host of others relatives and friends including special friends, Minnie Bowman, Virginia Applewhite and Shirley Malone. Mrs. Henrietta L. Bradley was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Doggett; mother, Mary Doggett; sister, Mary Lee Davis; and son, Larry Bradley.
