JACKSON, Mr. Harold Dwayne - Age 46, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Henry L. Fuller, Jr., officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Mr. Jackson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8 p.m. Friday. Mr. Harold Dewayne Jackson the oldest of 3 boys was born July 25, 1965 in Tunica, Mississippi, the son of Willie Mae Jackson and Louis Dennis Irons. Harold attended Flint Public Schools, graduating from Flint Northern High School, “Class of 1983.” He worked in retail and later met and married Alisa Reed. Harold loved getting dressed up and going out, joking with family and friends until his health failed. He also enjoyed going to the casino, his favorite game was “Black Jack.” Mr. Harold D. Jackson leaves to cherish his memory: 3 daughters, Harisha Jackson of North Richland, TX, Johnetta Allen and Kiara Martin, both of Flint; 2 sons, Harrell Jackson of Grand Blanc, MI and Staff Sgt. Marcellus Wade of North Carolina; 5 grandchildren, Harrell D. Jackson, Jr., Ezaryanna Allen of Flint, Alyana Wade of Texas, Arrion and Michael Wade, both of North Carolina and Olivia Coley of Flint; mother, Willie Mae Charles of Flint; stepmother, Dorothy Irons of Tunica, MS; 8 sisters, Brenda Anderson of Harvey, IL, Patricia Daniels of Munster, IN, Doris Latimore of St. Louis, MO, Teresa Robinson and Carrie Washington of Memphis, TN, Teresa (Darryl) Exum of Bartlett, TN, Deborah (Bud) Williams and Gale Daniels of Tunica, MS; 6 brothers, Mike (Avanell) Jackson, Anthony Bowling of Flint, Elbert (Brenda) Daniels, Dennis (Juanita) Polk, Anthony Polk of Tunica, MS and Branard (Roshanda) Larry of Atlanta, GA; 6 nieces; 6 nephews; 3 aunts; 6 uncles; numerous cousins; 3 sisters-in-law, Felicia Reed of Davison, MI, Denika (Dewayne) Shaw and Erin Jackson, both of Flint; a host of other relatives and friends including best friend, Branard Larry, friends, Matthew Jackson, Brenda Drake, Dewayne Gray, Jaquilan Waters, Johnnie, Billy, June Baby, godson, Tamario Bohannon, goddaughter, Chantel Mosley, Micha Grady. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his 2 fathers, Johnnie Lee Charles and Dennis Irons; brother, Rondal L. Jackson, Sr.; grandparents, Willie (Lodenia) Jackson, Roberta Webb and L.C. Hines; nephews, Karon D. Counts and Jakai Waters; mother and father-in-law, L.S. (Betty) Reed. The family would like to express special thanks to Hurley Medical Center, Davita Dialysis, Fostrian Nursing Home, caregivers, Harrell and Rondal Jackson, Deshon Davis, Johnny and Annetta Cooper for all that she had done for the Jackson family.
