Mr. Gregory Spillers

SPILLERS, Mr. Gregory - Age 64, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at his residence. Family hour 1:30 PM Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Tuesday. Mr. Spillers will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Monday. Mr. Gregory “GMoney” Spillers was born August 15, 1959 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the son of Hazel Spillers and Benny Milton Sr. Gregory moved to Flint, Michigan in 1963 and attended Gundry Elementary School. Later graduating from Flint Northwestern High School, “Class of 1977.” He later obtained a trade for Carpentry at Mott Community College. “GMoney” was loved, honest, kind hearted and loyal. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. “GMoney” was loving and supportive. He was a faithful member of Cornerstone Freshwater Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Donald Alston. “GMoney” loved music, but not more than dressing for the ladies. Most importantly, he loved his family and especially Grandkids and great grands. He will truly be missed. “Pimpin Aint Eazy.” Mr. Gregory “GMoney” Spillers leaves to cherish his memory: 5 children, Markees Fordham, Jaray Fordham Alicia “Ade” Spillers-Milton, Martae Fordham, all of Tennessee, Dorsia (Jaquavius) Tallay of Mississippi; 17 grandchildren, Markeesha, Keeasia, Taezia, Eyanna, Chinya, Trinity, Rayonna, Malik, JaTae, Amani, Janiya, Amir,Briana, Abe, Lola, Braylan and Jaylan; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia (Moses) Spillers; 4 brothers, Larry,Andre and JaJuan Spillers and Allen (Odeal) Milton; 4 nephews, Eric, Andre, Carod and DeAndre; nieces, Shaquanda, Brandy, Tanisha, Tina, Shanell, Kelli, Alexis, Andrea, Aria, Maikala, all of Michigan; aunt, Jewel Correy; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Pierre Smith, Lesa Todd, Lamont Allen, Iyvana, Joey, Toy, Val, Angie, April, Vicky, Chinesta, Angela D. and Brandi Harden. Mr. Spillers was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Spillers; father, Benny Milton; Robin Williams; brother, Benny Milton Jr.; Bernice Fordham and Venice Butts. The family would like to express special thanks to Henry Ford Hospital, Premedia Hospice and Nurse Heather.
