HALL, Mrs. Gloria Jean - Age 62, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 1:30 p.m. Saturday November 27, 2010 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 2 p.m. Eld. John Thornton officiaiting. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Mrs. Hall will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon - 8 p.m. Friday. Mrs. Gloria J. (Tillman) Hall was born July 1, 1948 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Evelyn Tripplett and Ollie Tillman. Gloria graduated from Flint Northern High School. She also attended U of M Flint and Mott Community College graduating with a degree in Nursing as a Registered Nurse, during her time of employment she was a very dedicated nurse at Hurley Medical Center, retiring in 1995. Gloria went on to work even after retirement as a Mentor and tutored children in her spare time at the Urban League of Flint and Bunche Elementary School. She was a member of the Kinship Caregivers Program. Gloria was also a member of several other organizations of NJFGBC and The Bread of Life Church of God In Christ. She was loved by many and will be missed by those who she knew and cared for her. Mrs. Gloria J. (Tillman) Hall leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Lisa Gilbert; sons, Eric Tillman, Kerry and Kevin (Katina) Hall; grandchildren, Eric Tillman, Ericca Tillman (unborn), China Hall, Tasia Hall, Kerri Hall, Brandon Hall, Shaniya Hall, Brea Hall, Blare Hall, Kameran Hall, Shakeya Gilbert, Dominic Hall, Kobe and Kealen Gilbert; grandparents, Doni Tripplett and John Tripplett; sisters, Jackie and Juanita; cousins, Tommie Jean Standdokes, Wesley Muhammad, Renard Tripplett and Sharon; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends Pam Goines, Pearle Poole, Bessie Strozier, Virginia Brown, the Brown, Green and Tolbert families, Bishop Odis and Sis. Brenda Floyd, Johnathan Poole, Elder Sean Stroble, Bishop L.C. White and a host of many more special friends. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents. The family would like to express special thanks to Davita Dialysis, Hurley Medical Center CCU staff, Dr. Mousa Mohemmed, Lisa Linsday and everyone who took the time to care, bless you and thank you.
