ROBINSON, Mrs. Geneva “Deah” - Age 83, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at The Oaks of Woodfield in Grand Blanc, MI. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Grace Emmanuel Baptist Church, 3502 Lapeer Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM Rev. Dr. Marvin A. Jennings, Sr. officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:00 AM Saturday. Mrs. Robinson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12:00 PM -8:00 PM Friday, with the family present from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM to receive friends. Mrs. Geneva “Deah” Robinson was born July 4, 1933 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the daughter of Walter and Bertha (Byrd) Johnson. Mrs. Geneva “Deah” Robinson leaves to cherish her memory: 6 daughters, Tujunana (John) Reaves, Sharroll Robinson-Little, Vanessa (Lloyd) Brackins, Janessa Robinson, Theresa (Jaymes Jr.) Wesley and Therese (Quinton) Barbee, all of Flint; 9 grandchildren, Millicent George, Jennifer Estelle, Kameron Brackins, Kellen Brackins, Jaymes Wesley III, Nicholas Reaves, Harold Wesley, Rachel Kirksey and Brandon Woods; 3 great-grandchildren, Dakota Kirksey, Madison Monroe Kirksey and Leilana Marie Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Pops” Robinson; parents, Walter Johnson and Bertha Byrd. The family would like to express special thanks to RRC Dialysis Center, Lisa Newbold R.N., Eric Buckley and all the Tech’s., all of the nurses and CNA’s of McLaren-Flint 12th Floor Cardio Unit, Dr. Marta Bonkowski, Dr. Maria Smith, Dr. Abdul Alawwa and Associates, Dr. Nabil Zaki, Dr. Jagdish Mirchandani, The Oak’s of Woodfield in Grand Blanc.
