Mr. Frederick Watson

WATSON, Mr. Frederick - age 57 passed away, Friday, April 19, 2013 at Genesys Health Park, Grand Blanc, MI. Family hour 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Mt.Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 4805 N. Saginaw St., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Henry L. Fuller, Jr., officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10 a.m. Saturday. Mr. Watson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 1-8 p.m. Friday. Mr. Frederick Watson “Fred” was born on June 3, 1955 in Flint, Michigan to the late Hugh and Priscilla Watson. Fred attended Jefferson Elementary School, Bryant Junior High School and Flint Northwestern High School. He secured his eternal home by accepting Christ as his personal savior. Fred was united in Holy Matrimony with Gloria Smith on September 8, 1982 in Toledo, OH. He retired as a Press Operator for Grand Blanc Metal Fabrication, a division of General Motors. Fred was a Veteran of the United States Army where he was Honorably Discharged. He enjoyed fishing, barbequing and home remodeling. Fred favorite song was "Family Reunion" by the O'Jays and his favorite poem was "Footprints." Mr. Frederick Watson leaves to cherish his memory: loving and supportive wife, Gloria Watson; son, Oshesha (Heidi) Lewis of Montrose, MI; 3 grandchildren “His Babies”, Kristian Lewis, Sienna Lewis and Kaden Lewis of Montrose, MI; 3 sisters, Lola Carter, Felicia Watson and Paula Wright, all of Flint; brother, Dannie (Linda) Watson of Las Vegas, NV; step-brother, Anthony (Patricia) Watson of Fountain Hill, AR; special sister, Myra Broughton of Flint; 2 nieces, Candace Nicole Watson and Shevita Watson of Fountain Hill AR; 5 nephews, Cedric (Erika) Watson of Romulus, MI, Jamaal Carter of Toledo, OH, Mark A. Watson of Clovis, NM, Pierre (Renee) of Boston, MA and Tony (LaMisha) Fields of Las Vegas, NV; 2 aunts, Ruthie Mae Vincent of Wilmar, AR and Agnes (Ira Lee) Lewis of Mt.
