LAMBERT, Mr. Frederick Allen - Age 66, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:00 AM Friday, July 12, 2024, at Fairhaven Seventh Day Adventist Church, G-1379 W. Louis Ave., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM, Pastor Keelaun Crum, Host Pastor, pastor Charles Osboriune, Eulogist. Interment Sunset Hills Association, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Church 10:00 AM Friday. Mr. Lambert will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM Thursday, July 11, 2024. Mr. Frederick Allen Lambert departed this life on June 30, 2024 in Flint, Michigan. Frederick was born February 2, 1958 in Miami, Florida, the son of Theodore and Ruth (Wesley) Lambert. He moved to Flint with his mother, when he was 2 years old, and lived in Flint for the next 64 years. Frederick attended Flint Community Schools and graduated from Flint Central High School, “Class of 1976.” he furthered his education, attending Central Michigan University majoring in Accounting. Frederick also attended Mott Community College and received Certification in Robotics. Fred was employed at Grand Blanc Metal Center, a division of General Motors Corporation. He later transferred to General Motors Pontiac Plant Local #653. Fred retired in 2010. In 1986, he met the loved of his life, Chisandra Bryant, and they married in 1996. Fred was a member of Fairhaven Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He was an active Deacon. Fred was also a volunteer for the Fairhaven Community Service Department, The Men’s Ministry, and Family Life. Fred enjoyed sports and watching sports programs. He was dedicated to physical fitness. Fred also enjoyed fishing, going to the movies and he loved getting together with family and friends. Fred was quiet and humble man. He also enjoyed reading and studying the Bible, he called “God’s Love Letter.” Mr. Frederick Allen Lambert leaves to cherish his memory: beloved wife of 28 years, Chisandra; daughter, Christina Williams of Monroeville, AL; step-father, James Davis; step-sisters, Monique Davis of Chicago, IL and Danica Davis of Flint; 2 aunts, Evelyn Lambert of Miami, FL and JoAnn Wesley of Dothan, AL; 6 sisters-in-law, Serita (Frank) Jones of Apopka, FL, Linda (Jimmie) Strong of Berrien Springs, MI; Conti Norris, Terri (Rufus) Braggs of Flint, Yvonne Bryant of Atlanta, GA and Tonya (Keith) Evans of Racine, WI; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Gloria Stuckey, Gloria McCoy, Nate and Catherine Washington, the Nash family, Ruby Hill, Lavern Bridges and Mother Hayes. Mr. Lambert was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Davis and Theodore Lambert; sister-in-law, Shirley Bryant; grandparents; 3 aunts; 9 uncles; nephew, Christopher Bryant; brothers-in-law, Robert Forte’, Allen Norris and Cecil Gatson.
