Mr. Frank Felder Sr.

FELDER SR., Mr. Frank - Age 73, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at his residence. Family hour 10 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Rev. Henry Felder officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10 a.m. Saturday. Mr. Felder will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. Friday. Mr. Frank Felder Sr. was born February 7, 1942 in Archie, Louisiana the son of Mr. & Mrs. Howard Sr. and Josephine (Dickens) Felder. He was a graduate of Sevier High school in Ferriday, LA. Frank lived in Mt. Morris, MI community for over 48 years. He received Christ at an early age at Gross Street C.O.G.I.C. in Alton, IL. Frank was employed at General Motors until his retirement, having worked 33 years, in 2002. Some of his hobbies were cooking, shopping, traveling, gardening, and spending time with his family, especially at family reunions. He leaves to cherish his memory: 4 daughters, Shawndra Felder of Flint, MI, Sheri Felder of Waterford, MI, Pam Collier of Atlanta, GA and Bura L. Robinson of Rio Rancho, NM; 3 sons, Gidget Carter of Atlanta, GA, Frank Felder Jr. and Michael Felder of Flint, MI; 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 8 sisters, Arie Cooper of Rhinehart, LA, Pecola Connors of Temple, TX, Yvonne Wells of Memphis, TN, Willia (Earl) Matthews of Zachary, LA, Almedia (Thomas) Burgess of Memphis, TN, Margie (Bill) Wilkerson of Florissant, MO, Sallie (Eunich) Davis of Winnsoboro, LA, Marget (Joseph) Bourda of Houston, TX; 2 brothers, Jessie (Stella) Felder of Alton, IL, Henry D. (Gidget) Felder of Sanger, TX; 46 nieces and nephews; uncle, Eddie Dickens, Jr.; a host of cousins and other relatives and friends, including special nieces Marcie and Edeltress; special friends, Robert Dunnon, Mr. Lee, Lovie Thomas and Ms. King. Mr. Frank Felder Sr. was preceded in death by: beloved wife, Gloria Jean Felder; parents, Howard Sr. and Jospehine Felder; sisters, Roberta (Fred) Watkins and Alice Felder; brother, Rev. Howard (Rosemary) Felder Jr.; brothers-in-law, Robert Cooper, Clinton Conners, and Elder Ben Wells.
