PRICE, Mother Fannie Mae - Age 90, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at her residence. Family hour 11:30 AM Monday, October 10, 2022 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 12:00 PM. Pastor Morris Collins, officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt. Morris, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the chapel 11:30 AM Monday. Mother Price will lie in state in the chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Sunday. Mother Fannie Mae Price was born September 23, 1932 in Birmingham, Alabama, the daughter of Jake and Aceola Blackmon. Fannie had one son, Moses Price Jr.; sister, Zora Bryant; and a brother, Jake Blackmon Jr., all who preceded her in death. Fannie married Moses Price and moved to Flint, Michigan in 1955. She was blessed with 5 lovely children. She accepted Christ at an early age. Fannie later joined Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church and was President of the Nurses Guild for 18 years. She was also over their Kitchen for many many years. Her favorite hobbies were, cooking for her family, as well as other families in the community. Fannie also enjoyed watching the cooking shows, doing Word Search Puzzles and caring for her grandchildren. She was a housekeeper and cook for several prominent residents in Flint and was well known for her pound cakes and apple pies. Mother Fannie Mae Price leaves to cherish her memory: 4 daughters, Wanda (Larry) Campbell, Paulette Price, Laurel (Victor) Robertson and Della Price; daughter-in-law, Lawaner Price; 18 grandchildren, including Regina Smith, Vonetta Robertson, Valerie Robertson, Lamar Campbell, Victor Robertson Jr., and Danielle Johnson; 19 great-grandchildren including, Juwan Campbell whom she raised; also her devoted nephew, Bruce Blackmon Sr.; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Delores Blount and Shirley Hill, to name a few as well as Pastor Morris A. Collins Sr. and the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church family. The family would like to express special thanks to Vonetta Robertson and Victor Robertson Jr. for the awesome care during her hospice, as well as All American Home Health & Hospice Care.
