MULDREW, Mrs. Ethel - Age 86, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 1083 E. Stewart Ave., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Pastor Lewis Randolph, officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10 a.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Muldrew will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 3-8 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Ethel Lee Muldrew was born August 11, 1926 in Ogden, Arkansas to Mr. Fred Goodlow and Ms. Willie Parker. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and cousin. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Ethel touched many lives over the past 86 years. She was a faithful member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church for 22 years. Mrs. Ethel Lee Muldrew leaves to cherish her memory: 4 daughters, Celestine Carroll, Shirley Bowen, Willy Byrd and Verlen Webb; 3 sons, Samuel Muldrew, Jr., Sidney (Gwen) Muldrew and Ricky (Tyra) Muldrew; son-in-law, James Whitlow; stepdaughter, Geraldine Adams Wright; special cousin, Katherine Spearman and the entire Toledo family; grandchildren, Annette Norton (Tony Parker), Alvin (Karla) Bowen, Jr., Marvin (Sarah) Muldrew, Coranders Bowen, Michelle (Ken) Johnson, James Whitlow, Dr. Kevin (Cassondra) Whitlow, Brandon Byrd, Angela, Ronnika and James Owens, Adrian (Tamika) Muldrew, Antwaun (Amanda) Muldrew, Maurice (Latrice) Muldrew, Sidney Dion, Tanesha Muldrew, Dana (William) Morris, Taylin and Tyrain Muldrew, Sharece (Steven) DeVougas, Jaya and Ricky Muldrew, QuDonya Muldrew and Ricky James; great grandchildren, Emmanuel ‘E.J.” and Korey Whitlow, Meia Johnson, Latoya and Tiffany Norton, LaQuetta and Alvin Bowen, Tevin and Braylin Muldrew, Deshawn Owens, Jamaria Owens, Christopher Burgess, Taylor Owens, Ciara, Naima, Mark and Maurice Mobley, Jaevier Muldrew, Teaira Davis, Kevin Whitlow II, Kenyon, Kaliyah and Jaxson Muldrew, Tamia Muldrew, Nash Smith, Steven DeVougas III, Ayden Morris; great great grandchildren, Deshawn Owens, Jr. and Kaleb Bowen; a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Muldrew was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Muldrew; daughter, Ethel Whitlow; grandson, Anthony Bowen; parents, Fred Goodlow and Willie Parker; grandmother, Mary Parker; sister, Luberta Fluellon; brother, Pearl Goodlow; and son-in-law, Charles Webb.
