Mr. Edward Albert Parham

PARHAM, Mr. Edward Albert - Age 70, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020 at Willowbrook Manor. Mr. Parham will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed Tuesday, May 12, 2020 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Mr. Edward Albert Parham was born August 24, 1949 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Gladys K. Parham and Edward V. Murphy. Edward was raised in Flint and moved to Grand Blanc, MI during the last 6 years of his life where he resided at Grand Meadows II. He loved the Lord and grew up in a home where he learned to appreciate the goodness of our heavenly Father as a child from a loving mother. His education includes graduation from Flint Northwestern High School and four years at the University of Michigan-Flint, majoring in Pre-Med Courses. Edward was drafted into the United States Army. He became a counselor for enlisted men or women who needed help. Before going into the Army Mr. Parham worked as a Senior Nursing Assistant at Hurley Medical Center. He was employed at Channel 66 Fox News, he sold Kirby Vacuum Cleaners and worked as a Substitute Teacher for Child K through 12th grades and loved it and they loved “Mr. Ed”. Mr. Parham was very creative, very artistic and saw beauty in everything! He loved music, dancing and taught himself to play the piano and he wrote songs. This creativity has been passed on to his 2 sons, Bryce and Brandon. Mr. Edward Albert Parham leaves to cherish his memory: 2 sons, Edward Bryce Parham of Flint and Branndon Omar Treymane Page Sr. of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Caiden Bryce Parham, Alaya Branch, both of Battle Creek, MI, Sayja Page, Cerissa Page, Nolan Ballare and Branndon Page Jr. of Savannah, GA; 2 sisters, Eunice Anderson and Rogia Roberts, both of Flint; a host of nieces, nephews; aunt, Doris Hall of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Inez Goodman; brother-in-law, Larry Goodman; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Terry Bowes and Arnold Moore. Mr. Parham was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Parham; father, Edward V. Murphy; grandmother, Georgia Thurman; sisters, Agnes White and Mary Jo Jackson.
