O'NEAL, Mr. Edmond C. "Woogar", Jr. - Age 58, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at his residence. Family hour 11AM Saturday, September 8, 2007 at New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church, 1035 E. Carpenter Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11:30AM. Bishop Odis A. Floyd officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, G-3415 E. Hill Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11AM Saturday. Mr. O'Neal will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Friday. Mr. Edmond C. "Woogar" O'Neal, Jr. was born October 5, 1948 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Edmond C. and Virgina O'Neal. Edmond was a resident of Flint, Michigan and graduated from Northern High School "Class of 1966". He was Honorably Discharged from the United States Army. Ed was employed with General Motors as a General Supervisor, retiring after 36 years of dedicated service. His love was golfing with the Rat Pack. Edmond married Karlous Petty in 1989 and to this union one daughter was adopted, Ebony O'Neal which was the loved of his life. Mr. Edmond C. "Woogar" O'Neal, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Karlous (Petty) O'Neal; sons, Corey, Edmond III and Dionysus "Dee" Petty; mother, Virgina O'Neal; aunt, Bertha O'Neal; cousins, Joyce Blake, Ora Lee White, Roslyn Offitt, Pam Holley, Jehan Mansur, Vivian Bentley and Jeanetta McQuery; mother-in-law, Vivian (Johnny) Dunlap; sisters-in-law, Cherita (Victor) Andrews, Kimberly Blair; Terrie (Bobby) Daniel and Yvonne (Percy) Johnson; brother-in-law, James (Bridgett) Petty; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, The Rat Pack, Henry Dawson, the Jones, Blake, McQuery, Sisco, Doggett and O'Neal families; special daughter and pet, Ebony. Mr. O'Neal was preceded in death by his father, Edmond C. O'Neal, Sr.; host of aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to express special thanks to Bishop Odis A.
