YEARBY, Mrs. Eddie Bell Hunter - Age 76, passed away Monday, January 2, 2006 at Heritage Homecare Center. Family hour 11:00AM Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 115 Welch Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 12Noon. Rev. Willis C. Hunter, officiating. Pastor Floyd Fuller, Host Pastor. Friends and family will assemble at the church 11AM Saturday. Public viewing will only be held during family hour at 11AM on Saturday. Mrs. Eddie Bell Hunter-Yearby was born on October 20, 1929 in Blytheville, Arkansas, the daughter of Leon Jackson, Sr., and Essie D. Taylor. She received Christ at an early age and was a member of Family Baptist Church. Eddie Bell Jackson was united in Holy Matrimony to Clifton R. Hunter, Sr., and to this union two daughters and four sons were born. Momma loved her children and grandchildren, traveling, praising the Lord, especially quoting the scripture Galatians 6:7, fishing, cooking, dancing, and writing songs; from the years of 1957-1964, Momma wrote two published songs for Five Star Music Masters ("The Assassination of Kennedy Was A Sad Day" & "Nagging Woman") and one for Crown Music Company ("Darling I Need You So"). Eddie Bell graduated from Central High School and completed her education at Mott Community College, receiving her Certified Nursing Assistant License in 1977. Later, she was hired at Chateau Gardens and was employed as a C.N.A. for 15 years. It was during this time she met and married Henry W. Yearby. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her husband, Henry W. Yearby; 2 daughters, Kathryn M. Hunter-Williams, Darlene (Emery) Davis; 4 sons, Clifton R. (Charlotte) Hunter, Jr., Willis C. (Jacqueline) Hunter, Charles E. Hunter, Ira (Tonya) Hunter; a host of stepchildren, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; 8 brothers, Harvey D. (Rochelle) Jackson, Rev. Ezell Jackson, Curtis L. (Nancy) Jackson, Alvin (Teresa) Jackson, Kirby L. (Laura) Jackson, Sylvester (Annette) Jackson, Leon (Doris) Jackson, Jr., Julius (Monique) Taylor, Jr.; 8 sisters, Myrtle Lee Woolridge, Adline (Henry) King, Lillie Bell Jackson, Elizabeth Bryent, Yvonne Maddin, Barbara (Gregory) Nelson, Evangelist Pamela Scotten, Vanessa (James) Crawford; stepmother, Rebecca Jackson. She was preceded in death by Leon Jackson, Sr., Essie D. Taylor, Julius Taylor, Sr., Juliet Sears, Rochester Jackson, Myrah Lee Bell, Baby Jerry Hunter, Frank Jefferson, Jr. The family would like to express special thanks to Nurses Jacinta Uptegraff, Lana Milker, Doctors Khalid Ahmed, Larry Braver, Helena Kusz, Social Worker Agnes Greene, and the 2nd floor staff at Heritage Manor Healthcare Center, Hurley Medical Center, Mt.
