Mr. Dontae Talifarro/Verbal

TALIFARRO/VERBAL, Mr. Dontae - Age 33, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 in Indianapolis, IN. Family hour 10AM Saturday, July 14, 2018 from Ebenezer Ministries, 2130 S. Center Rd., Burton, MI, with funeral servicing commencing 11AM. Bishop Urundi Knox, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and Pallbearers will assemble at the church 10AM Saturday. Public viewing will be held during family hour only. Mr. Dontae Talifarro was born on November 6, 1984 to Robin and Felicia Talifarro in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At one years old, he relocated to Flint with his parents and baby brother. On July 1, 2018 Dontae went to his heavenly home with the Lord. Mr. Dontae Talifarro attended Flint Community Schools and graduated from Central High School. At an early age, he joined Ebenezer Ministries. Dontae enjoyed being attending church. He was an active participant in the Mister Rogers program. He later served in maintaining the Ebenezer Community Center. Dontae moved to Indianapolis to be closer to his brother and cousins. There he was a member of the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed by Chewy Manufacturer as a Forklift Driver. Dontae was passionate about spending time with daughter, Zoe. Dontae’s comedian spirit brought laughter to all who knew him. One of his greatest pleasures came in making others smile and laugh. Mr. Dontae Talifarro leaves to cherish is memory: daughter, Zoe Marie Talifarro (Boyten Beach, FL); mother, Felicia Talifarro (Burton, MI); 3 brothers: Terrance (Adyam) Talifarro, Lamar (Rebecca) Antwan (Indianapolis, IN), and Brandon Clarke (Lansing, MI); grandparents, Dorothy and Claude Verbal (Fountain Hills, AZ); 4 uncles: Dexter (Lynn) Roach (Roanoke, TX); Randell (Shawn) Talifarro; Dru Verbal (Fountain Hills, AZ) and Claude Verbal, Jr.; 2 aunties: Stella Greene (Burton, MI) and Andrea Verbal (North Carolina); cousins: Sadaris Wilson (Burton, MI); Ramone (Saliyah) Talifarro (Indianapolis, IN); Roland Talifarro (Indianapolis, IN), Onrea Roach (Roanoke, TX); Trey Roach (Roanoke, TX) and special cousin, Debra Elaine Harris-Whitted (Marion, IN); a host of other relatives and friends including his special friends: Jarrod Murray (Flint, MI); and Juwaun Jones (Flint, MI). Mr. Talifarro was preceded in death by his father, Robin Talifarro and grandparents, Willie and Ruby Roach.
