THOMAS, Ms. Dinah Sharon - Age 67, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023, in Mesa, Arizona. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday. January 6, 2024, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Saturday. Ms. Thomas will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM Friday, January 5, 2024, with family present from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM to receive friends. Dinah Sharon Thomas, born on April 12th, 1956, in Alliance, Ohio, to Nathaniel Thomas and Lela Hawkins-McInnis. Dinah moved to Flint, Michigan, where she spent the majority of her adult life. She worked diligently at the Radisson Hotel and Genesys Ascension Regional Medical Center. A woman of faith, a cherished individual whose life was a testament to her strong belief in Christ and acceptance of God. May her faith continue to inspire those who knew her. In 2013, Dinah relocated to Tempe, Arizona, to be closer to her beloved sons, whom she loved so dearly. She was a devoted mother, and her legacy lives on through them. Dinah possessed a heart of gold, radiating love and affection to everyone she encountered. Her warm spirit made her seem like she never met a stranger. Shefound joy in shopping, adored Betty Boop, and cherished quality time with her family.Dinah Sharon Thomas, age 67, passed away on December 16th, 2023, in Tempe, Arizona, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves to carry on her legacy, her three sons, Michael (Tasha) Thomas, Dajaun (Monique) Thomas, and Darius (Jacqueline) Thomas all of Arizona. 7 Brothers:Marvin (Dorothy) Proctor of Epes Alabama, Kenneth Monroe, Nathaniel Thomas Jr., Keith Thomas, David (Johanna) Thomas, and Brice Thomas all of Alliance, and Kenneth Williams of Canton. 5 Sisters Brinda Thomas of Alliance, Francis PauletteProctor of Flint Michigan, Karla Stargen of Killeen Texas, Teawhanna Thomas of Girard, and Camille Thomas of Canton. Dinah loved her Grandchildren: Cierra Ross, Tashay and Quintin Robinson, and Zynae Thomas and her Great Grandchildren: Braylen Lewis, Josiah Murray and Jahkyi Calvin, all of Arizona. Uncles: Fred Hawkins, James (Earline) Hawkins of Flint, Marvin (San) Proctor of Alliance, Aunts: Madoris McClung of Alliance,Madeline (Larry ) Brown of Flint, Lynette Hawkins of Cleveland, and Sarah Cheek of Buffalo NY a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her very much and she loved them as well. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel (Mary) Thomas Sr., Lela Hawkins-McInnis, Daddy Francis Paul Proctor, and siblings Larry S. Riddle, Kim and Sidney Thomas, and Adrian Batch.
