HOLLIDAY-SEGREST, Mrs. Diane Lynn - Age 60, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Family hour 12 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 1 p.m. Apostle Kenneth Segrest, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 12 p.m. Friday. Mrs. Segrest will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday. Ms. Diane Lynn Holliday-Segrest was born September 4, 1954 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Franklin Sr. and Irena Holliday. She attended the Beecher area schools. Diane worked in the health care field for some time. She loved cooking, dressing nice and best of it all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. If you came in contact with Diane you knew she had a heart of gold. She was a social butterfly. One thing about her, if you needed her for anything she would give it to you. Diane you will be truly missed. Ms. Diane Lynn Holliday-Segrest leaves to cherish her memory: 3 daughters, LaShonda (Atwan) Pugh, TaniJanika Gardner, Sheletta (Micheal) Segrest; 2 sons, Kenyatta (Shronda) Gardner, Kenneth (Luvenia) Gardner all of Flint; 19 grandchildren, Terrance, Kenneth Jr., Kenyatta, Kenyatta Jr., Jalen, Keon, Chance, Kevontae, Perry, Janika, Diana, Latesha, Khadeijah, Sharmeka, Aaliyah (Cat), Kearia, Keosha, Keyanna, Keyshonna; 5 great-grandchildren, Zaniya, DaMarion, Derrion, Demonei, Shaara; niece, Konita Holliday; 2 great-nieces, Kamira and Kanila; 3 great-great-nieces, Aydaan, Lariah, Naomi; great-nephew, T’Wan; great-great-nephew, Marelle; cousins, George (Wilma) Holliday, Jr. of Flint; sister-in-law, Rochelle Holliday of Flint; a host of other relatives, and friends including special friends, Lois Matthews, Michael Zimmerman, Derrick Crutchfield, Marcus Butler, Yolanda Taylor, Lisa Bethay; numerous nephews and nieces too many to name. Ms. Holliday-Segrest was preceded in death by parents, Franklin, Sr. and Irene Holliday; brother, Franklin Holliday, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Promyse.
