SMITH, Mr. DeQuintes Latrelle - Age 26, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at his residence. Family hour 1:30 PM Saturday, February 15, 2025 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Rev. Patrick Sanders II, officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Park, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt. Morris, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the chapel 1:30 PM Saturday. Mr. Smith will lie in state in the chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home. Public visitation will be during family hour only. Mr. DeQuintes Latrelle Smith a.k.a. “Debo” was born on July 6, 1998 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Teresa Smith. DeQuintes was such a spoiled little boy, considering that he was the baby out of 5 children. Growing with his grandparents, Bettie and Commie Smith. He had an old soul. You would think he was older than what he was. His favorite TV shows were, Walker Texas Ranger and The Golden Girls. DeQuintes loved all music, but his favorited was Country Music. He was known for cracking jokes and being the life of the party. Mr. DeQuintes Latrelle Smith leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Teresa Smith: 2 sisters, Tierra Smith of Flint and Tyana Houston of Holly, MI; 2 brothers, Keon Smith and Kevin Roland, both of Mt. Morris, MI; 3 nieces, Nyana Smith, Kassidy Houston and Kash’mere Houston; 4 nephews, Tyrion McMillan, Quin’trell Watson, DeAdrian Searcy Jr. and King Houston; great-aunt, Mamie Allen of Grand Blanc, MI; 2 uncles, Terry Smith of Flint and Tremayne Smith Sr. of Columbus, OH; 4 cousins, Tarra Thompson of Mt. Morris, MI, Ariyanna Smith of Pinette, FL, Ta’shaye Asia Reddick of Flint, Tremayne Smith Jr. and Miciah Smith, both of Columbus, OH; brother-in-law, Darrean Houston of Holly, MI; a host of other relatives including, Terrance and Mia Allen of Dallas, TX, Ronald and Anita Rutledge of Birmingham, AL, Pamela and Kenny Reddic, Lee and Sharon King, all of Flint and Kevin Allen of Denton, TX. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bettie and Commie Smith; and uncle, Timothy Smith. The family would like to express special thanks to Lawrence E.
