HUDSON, Mr. Dennis - Age 61, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at his residence. Family hour 10:00 AM Friday, June 14, 2024, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment, Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Friday. Mr. Hudson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Thursday. Mr. Dennis Hudson “Yog” was born August 29, 1962 in Fint, Michigan, the son of Willie James and Jewel D. Hudson. Dennis was a resident of Flint and attended Flint Northern High School. He was very outgoing and outspoken. Dennis enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. “Yog” loved to have a good time and party, but he also loved to fall, if you knew “Yog” , he always ended up falling. We’ve all picked him up a time or two. Mr. Dennis Hudson leaves to cherish his memory: girlfriend, Linda Price; 2 children, De’Angelo Taylor of Flint and Brandon (Javon) Hudson; god-son, Marqavus Gillard of Flint; grandchildren, A’nya Hudson of Flint, Brandon Hudson Jr. of Louisville, KY, CiAnna Culbreath “Cici” and Eden Williams; sister, Vicky (Jerry) Anderson, all of Flint; brother, Willie Hudson Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL; nieces, Latrice Smith of Flint and Marietta Deer of St. Petersburg, FL; nephews, Earl Hudson (Lynzy Campbell) of Flint and Willie Hudson III of St. Petersburg, FL; great-niece, La’Tazia Lewis Hudson; great-nephew, Earl Lewis Hudson; 3 aunts, Annette Pratcher, Ina Garrett (Billie Fulton) of Selmer, TN and Virginia Williams of Bethel Springs, TN; uncle, William (Terri) Lusk of Kansas City, MO; a host of cousins; brother-in-law, Jerry Anderson; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Dollar, Punchie, Takea Moore, Radio, Fish, Bear, Bq Face, Taz, Smiley, Daylee, Shawn, Bennie G. and Titus Harris. Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by his parents, Willie James and Jewel D. Hudson; brother, Linnie Earl Hudson.
