WALKER, Mr. DeMarcus -Age 27 passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at his residence. Family hour 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM . Interment Flint Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt. Morris, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Wednesday. Mr. Walker will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home., and may be viewed from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM Tuesday. Mr. DeMarcus Lamar Walker was born June 29, 1994 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Duranda Blackmon and Larry Walker. Mr. Walker attended Flint Community School and received his GED while incarcerated. After being released from prison, he maintained multiple jobs in the automotive industry. Mr. Walker loved drinking and dancing, if he was not drinking and dancing he was with his family drinking, laughing, talking stuff and dancing. He enjoyed music, watching music videos and rapping on and off. Mr. Walker also loved traveling, bowling and trying to play one of his older brothers 1-on-1 for money. If you ever had a conversation with DeMarcus you could tell that he was a very intelligent young man, very well mannered and respectful. Mr. Walker was two handfuls of entertainment. Mr. DeMarcus Lamar Walker leaves to cherish his memory: fiancé, Kenisha Sims; mother, Duranda Blackmon; father, Larry Walker; grandfather, Odessa Blackmon; 5 maternal brothers, DeMario, Eric, Derek, Jarrod and Gerald; 2 maternal sisters, Jaleesa and Jalayiah; 5 paternal brother, Lamario, Larrell, Larry Jr., Larry Spann and Derek Willis; 6 paternal sister, Larissa, Lauren, Cassandra, Serena, Larvetta and Laretta; 4 maternal uncles, William, Gregory, Fredrick and Major; 4 paternal uncles, Jerry, Michael, James and Erwin; maternal aunt, Margaret (Allen) Seales; 5 paternal aunts, Josephine, Joann, Mary, Sadia and Beverly; a host of cousins that he loved like his siblings, Omar, Crystal, Alisha, favorite cousin Alexis, Shanta, Allen “A.V.”, Little Major, Stephone, LaQuan and Shaqunada; 6 nieces, Dy’Ashiah, Briye’, Sole, Rylee, E’Moni and Dessiah; 11 nephews, Malik, Devin, Gerald Jr., Durod, Deonte, Si’Myon, Jerome, Xavier, Nasir, Jy’aire and Emyrs, all whom he cherished as his own; bonus parents, Shirley and Kenny Glover that cherished DeMarcus as their own son; a host of special cousins, Emel, Lil Omar, Mike Mike Blackmon, JoJo, Brittany and ReRe; special friends that he considered as brothers, Jizzy, Eqwon and Crader; special sister, Kierra “KeKe”, DaQualah and Asia. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his brothers, Deonta Blackmon and Vinci Spann; grandmothers, Caroline Blackmon and Annie Mae Walker; grandfather, Jack Walker; best friends, Jermaine Jackson and Rell Mitchner. The family would like to express special thanks to Lawrence E.
