Mrs. Debra Lutrice Earl

EARL, Mrs. Debra Lutrice - Age 60, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at her residence. Family hour 1:30 PM Friday, November 12, 2021 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort hwy., Mt. Morris, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Friday. Mrs. Earl will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Thursday. Ms. Debra Lutrice Phipps-Earl was born July 31, 1961 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Marjo Ann Marks and Willie June Phipps. Debra resided in Flint and found Christ at an early age. She graduated from Beecher High School and attended Mott Community College. Debra enjoyed going to the casino bingo, fishing, spending time with her grandchildren, calling to check on family and friends. She also enjoyed making sure you dropped them babies off so Bresha can babysit and leaving you a voicemail if she missed your call. But most importantly she loved spending time with her “Moo Moo” and telling jokes, but don’t get in her zone when she’s calling Tyrone. Ms. Debra Lutrice Phipps-Earl leaves to cherish her precious memories: 1 and only daughter, Debresha Phipps; 4 sons, Pierre Earl, DeMarcus Buyck Phipps, Artist Buyck Phipps of Flint, all of Flint and Demond (Tamara) Buyck Phipps of Grand Rapids, MI; bonus children, Monsheea Phipps (niece), Indya James, Tiffany Marble and Datre Anderson; 7 grandchildren, BriErre, Jayce, McKenzie, Kayden, Kaleb, Denver and Milani; sisters, Bridget and Felicia Phipps; brother, James (Kimberly) Phipps, all of Flint; a host of nieces and nephews; special great-newphew, Nehemiah; special phone buddy, Geno; special cousin, Kim; special nurse, Andrew; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Johnie Bailey, Dian, Raychell and Murice. Ms. Phipps-Earl was preceded in death by her parents, Marjo (Roosevelt) Marks and Willie June Phipps; grandparents, Mr.& Mrs. Sydney and Mary Richardson; brother, Willie Phipps; sister, Arthisha Phipps; nephews, Laventez and Grandtinio Phipps; brother-in-law, Don Cooper; and many other loved ones.
