WILSON, Mr. David Ricardo - Age 21, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2006 at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. Family Hour 10:30AM Tuesday, December 26, 2006 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11AM. Evangelist Thomasine Wortham and Rev. Alma Fordham officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Tuesday. Mr. Wilson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 10AM-4PM Sunday and 8AM-2PM Monday. David Ricardo Wilson, Jr. "Scooter" was born September 16, 1985 in Flint, Michigan, the son of David Ricardo Wilson and Cheryl LaVonne Hartfield. David was a member of Metropolitan Baptist Tabernacle in Flint, Michigan. He was a student at Wayne State University, majoring in engineering and sports medicine. David lived life to the fullest and enjoyed his family and friends dearly. Mr. David R. Wilson, Jr. leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Cheryl LaVonne Hartfield and father, David Ricardo Wilson, Sr. both of Flint; grandmother, Drucilla Hartfield of Flint; great-grandmother, Mattie Foxworth; sister, Shoy Singleton of Flint; brother, Ricco Hartfield of Salina, KS; 6 nieces, Kierra McKenzie, Diamond Willis, JaShalya Williams, Tre'ana and Niyah McCree, and Vishaya Singleton; nephew, JaRicco Fisher; 4 great-aunts, Spring (L.J.) Herron, Helen (Kelly) Giles, Vernetta Carver and Annetta Foxworth of Birmingham, AL; 3 uncles, Frank (De'Bora) Hartfield, Tyrone Carroll and Robbie (Wanda) Carroll, all of Flint; 3 great-uncles, Dr. Rev. Turner (Lavania) Hartfield, Freeman (Hazel) McDonald, and Curtis Releford; god-parents, Keith (Hattie) Young of Flint; god-sister, Andrea Massie of Fort Knox, KY; 2 god-brothers, Lewis Leggions, Jr. and Antwane Donald, both of Flint; a host of many other relatives and friends including, Granny Barbara Harvey and family, close friends, Will Haggins, IV., and Ant'Juan Calloway of Detroit, Corey Miller of Flint; special cousins, Jerome, Montell and Bernard Hartfield and Sharmar Abernathy. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank "Pete" Hartfield, grandmother, Margaret Carroll, great-grandmother, Hattie Releford and great-grandfather, Sam Foxworth.
