Daisy Osborne

OSBORNE, Mrs. Daisy - passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Brian's House in Davison, MI. Family hour 10:30AM Friday, May 16, 2008 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, G-5443 N. Saginaw St., with funeral service commencing at 11AM, Pastor Alfred L. Harris, Sr., officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30AM Friday. Mrs. Osborne will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8pm Thursday. Mrs. Daisy Osborne was born in Yazoo, Mississippi. She was a resident of Burton, Michigan. Daisy accepted Christ in her life at a young age. She retired from General Motors SPO of Swartz Creek and was a member of UAW Local #659. Daisy enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and crocheting. She also was active on two bowling leagues. Mrs. Daisy Osborne leaves to cherish her loving memory: daughter, Vickie Y. Tucker; son, Vincent (Terinza) Osborne, all of Flint; stepdaughter, Ora Lee Liddell; stepson, Edward Osborne, Jr., both of Jackson, MS; special dear friend and companion, Mr. Aloys Cabell; grandchildren, Tarnesa (Lonnell) Martin of Flint, Terrance D. Tucker of St. Paul, MN, Thurman D. Tucker of Murfreesboro, TN, Andray (Lee Tonya) of Keline, TX, Damion (Nakia) Osborne, Vincent Valin, LaToya Osborne, all of Flint and Teele (Brandon) Johnson of San Diego, CA; great grandchildren, Ta'Qoiya, Andray, Jr., Lonnell, Jr., A'Jaleia, Qoiyon, Baby King, A'lana and Elijah; 2 sisters, Hazel Clarke and Dicey Claiborne; brother, King David Hatchett, Jr., all of Flint; sisters-in-law, Marie Hatchett of Mt. Morris, MI, Wilma Brown and Cleo Osborne both of Jackson, MS; brother-in-law, Reverend Oscar (Laura) Smith of Indianapolis, IN. Mrs. Osborne was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Osborne; parents, King David and Viola Hatchett; sisters, Alice Stutts and Carrie Hatchett; brother, James Hatchett; sister-in-law, Carrie Hatchett. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Sattar, McLaren Regional Medical Center and Nurse Joe, and to Brian's House nurses and staff. A very special thank you to cousin, Mrs. Eddie Lee Sanders who was there to give loving attention to our mother and grandmother.
