BROWN, Mrs. Cynthia Lee - Age 74, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024, at MediLodge of Livingston, Howell, MI. Family hour 9:00 AM Friday, January 19, 2024 at Triumph North Campus, 1657 Broadway Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 10:00 AM, Pastor Solomon Kinloch, Host Pastor. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, G-4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Church 9:00 AM Friday. Mrs. Brown will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM Thursday. Life for Mrs. Cynthia Lee Brown began on November 16, 1949 in West Carroll Parrish, Louisiana, the daughter of Roosevelt Turner and Daisy Bolden. Cynthia was the 1st of 4 siblings. She moved to Flint, Michigan in the 1980’s. Cynthia was a Caregiver and Seamstress. She was also the President of the Nurses Ministry until her illness, served on the Kitchen Ministry, as a Deaconess and Custodian for many years. Cynthia loved working with the children of the church. She joined North Star Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop James O. Flowers Sr., now known as Triumph Church-Flint Campus under the leadership of Pastor Solomon Kinloch Jr. Cynthia loved the Lord and attended church and Bible Study regularly. She also loved shopping, camping, fishing and travelling. Mrs. Cynthia Lee Brown leaves to cherish her memory: 2 loving sons, Anthony Henry and Chris Henry; special son, Herb Henry; 5 step-daughters; 3 step-sons; 8 grandchildren, Antione Blassingame, Kendall Thornton, Javon Henry, Delvieon Henry, Christian Henry, Christopher Henry, Breshondre Henry and Deshon Allen; 15 great-grandchildren; step-brother, Roosevelt Turner Jr. of West Carroll Parish, LA; special niece, Wanda Patterson; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Edna Brown, Colleen Fails, Yolanda Kendall, and Hattie Bell Collins. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Eddie Brown; son, Gregory Henry; sister, Dixie Bolden; 3 brothers, Marshall Bolden, Eugene Bolden and Robert Williams; special friend, Sharon Alexander; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to express special thanks to Pastor Solomon Kinloch Jr. and the Triumph Church-Flint Campus, Pastor James O. Flowers Sr., Trinity Hospital and Medi-Lodge of Livingston, MI.
