ROBINSON, Mr. Curtis - Age 66 passed away Thursday. July 13, 2023, at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 10:30 AM Monday, July 24, 2023, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd, with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Gracelawn Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Funeral Home, 10:30 AM Monday. Mr. Robinson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM Sunday, July 23, 2023. Mr. Curtis Robinson was born December 6, 1956 in Oxford, Mississippi, the son of Willie Jr. and Ethelene Robinson. Curtis came to know Christ at an early age. He moved to Flint, Michigan in 1962 and was a proud graduate of Flint Beecher High School. He loved listening to music, playing card, barbecuing and entertaining his friends. Curtis had a unique talent for barbecuing. He held down many jobs, such as working on the pipe line, General Motors, nursing aide and owning his own restaurant. He was what was called a “Jack-of-all-Trades.” Curtis was always a hard worker in everything he did. He was a devoted son to his mother and friend to just about everyone he came in contact with. Mr. Curtis Robinson leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Akera Robinson of Flint; son, Kevin Corbitt Robinson of Jackson, MS; 15 step-children, Antwone, Keysha, Amber, Antonio, Lisa, Larsell, Jenell, Linda, Terry, Perry, Shyanna, Kenyatta, Taversa, Lavern and Charles Corbitt; grandchild, Parker-Gellespi Robinson of Flint; parents, Willie Robinson Sr. of Phoenix, AZ; mother, Ethelene Robinson of Flint; step-mother, Betty Jean Robinson; 3 sisters, Frances Robinson (Baker), Perlean Robinson and Angie Berry, all of Flint; brother, Berry “Pee Wee”; nieces, Julie Baker of Kansas City, MO, Jolie Nunley of Flint and Fanta Nunley and Venesha Nunley of Phoenix, AZ; nephews, Joseph Robinson of Phoenix, AZ, Rapheal Robinson of Flint and Chris Robinson of Lansing, MI; aunts, Mary Alice Mason, Dora Pollack, Sara Jones, all of Oxford, MS, Loretta Avery of Flint, Quanita Arthur and Margarite Vaughn, both of Oxford, MS; 2 uncles, Rev.
